From where you sourced 4300k led ?? I have been looking since long but not able to get it most leds are of 6000k+ which i don’t recommend either.

Are there any warm LED bulbs available?

Which led are you using? I've changed my headlight bulb to 4300 k 35 w led one week ago and I'm satisfied with the output. But it is not upto mark when riding while raining. I've ordered it from aliexpress and the cost was 550 rs. Usually, most of the leds are 6500k and if it is in your case, you can try a 4300 k led. It won't do as good as a halogen in foggy and rainy conditions, but it gives good illumination at 35 watts.

I'm looking to purchase the same for my Gixxer. I will be placing it just below the headlight. Can you send me a picture of the brightness, if possible?

My bike is a Benelli 600

1) if you bike comes with h7 or h11 bulbs there us an 80w option. On my busa the h11 high beam was replaced with an 80w Phillips rallye. Used extensively and found no issues.
2) use a fused relay kit from hella or philips for you aux lights.
3) Check out phillips ultinon leds. I got a used pair for my SR150 at 4k and have fitted it last evening.

Comparing that to 50w leds (pair) from china there is a very hig difference. Philips seems way brighter and cleaner beam pattern.

So not am questioning if china LEDs wattage is accurate?

Just some led beads and a fan. There is nothing else in these bulbs. When I asked a local store, the price was 1000 rs for such bulb. That's why I bought from ali.

Yeah, it'll take some time for these to become mainstream in India. Once LEDs becone common, our local manufacturers would be producing these in bulk. That'd make them widely available at good prices. I refrain from getting LEDs from unknown brands coz they won't be reliable and Philips and such cost a lot. Philips halogen bulbs last a good time, I changed the stock bulb from my bike this year, almost 10 years of life, I have ridden a lot in the night too.

If one can confirm what's the wattage of LEDs used on hornet and other bikes with LED headlights and their pricing, it'd be helpful.

That's coz the costing is nothing for these products and even the shipping is several times the cost of the goods.

I bought it from an aliexpress seller "meetoo". I ordered h4 and they sent me a h7 bulb first. I contacted the seller and he shipped another bulb the same day and didn't even ask me to return the h7 bulb. I'll write a review after using it for sometime.

Am using it on SR150, the definition and thrown of the light on the roads is very good but like you said I felt it needs to be brighter

Hi guys,
If there are any electrical specialists here , I need some help. I want to mount 2 aux lights which are 40 w each (LEDs) drawing between 3.5 and 4 Amps. My battery is 12v 8 Ah. The headlight high is 12v 60 W and Low 12v 55 W. The position lamp and taillight come on when ignition Is switched on. They are 12v 5W each. When you start the engine the low beam comes on (always on mode).
Apart from this I have a Bolt USB charger installed which I use on long trips.
Now my question is will the battery be able to handle the additional two aux lights? These of course, will be connected directly to the battery as cutting or splicing the existing wires will make the warranty invalid.
I am still to figure out where to mount the aux as there is no space in the handle bar with the Bolt, Mobile holder and the windshield ( on the way).

What about HIDs?

Haven't used them. I don't think a 6000 k will satisfy you. You'll need a yellowish colour temperature to ride in rainy conditions. AFAIK, those are only made by multi national companies and very costly. If you can afford, check maximum reviews online and come to a conclusion. There might be reviews in this forum. Good luck.

Hmm... a 60/55 watt halogen might give better visibility in rainy and foggy conditions. But it is not going to give illumination like the led you are using right now. Also, 60watt halogen may burn your reflector in the long run. Choice is yours.

I'm using one which I got from Amazon called Axwell Tech. If the road is completely dark, the light performs really well. If it's raining or if I'm riding when there are lights coming from the opposite direction, I can't see the road properly.

Been using an LED headlight since the past few months, but I'm sick of the white light not being visible on highways. So I'm planning to go back to halogens.

So will a 60/55W bulb be suitable for the Gixxer or should i stick to a 35W bulb? I dont care much about the spread, I need the bulb to gice a good light throw since I drive pretty fast and would like to be aware if any potholes are coming my way.
