One of mu friend said Ktm RC200's projector would fit properly. Is that true. If not then where can I get one fixed. I am looking for LED projectors not HID ones as I have heard it starts giving issues after few months.
I'll try to keep it short :

Any projector work under 10-12k means Chinese projector. Which is useless. Its just for showoff. It will make your bike look cool when you put a pic of facebook but will definitely not help you in night.

RC200's or RC390's projector has a housing and clips of its own. If you can find a good mechanic that can do wonders. Yes you can get it fixed.
For starters. That's also cheap but the lowest quality of projector in layman language but it does Diwali in night, at least on KTM.

HID one's give problem after sometime because yamaha is fond of smaller batteries and low watt bulbs even though they provide good looking 2 headlight setup. Once you are done using few months of both projector together (because both together only looks awesome) the battery starts to show is weak side.

What you need is : a good mechanic, ask hom if he can fit RC's projector, LED bulbs. You can even add DRL tubes. They work as Indicators also. Looks sexy as costs just 700₹ around for a tube.

    Enjoy!

I own a discover 100 4g and I want to remove it's fairing and put in a round head lamp. I have seen a few discovers in Hyderabad for which this work is neatly executed and on some shoddy work was done like fixing clamps. Can you members suggest where in Hyderabad can I get this work done neatly. Also please share your veiws on this modification. Headlamp should focus great and should hold this current light holder setup.also what can be done to the pilot headlamps?
How much would this modification cost.

    Thanks
    Srinivas
I guess there is a proper bike market in begumpeth. And full street full of shops. They have all mechanics, modified bikes and stuffs. Try your luck there.

The problem: I installed an led projector in my fz and yeah during the daytime and evening hours the angel eyes worked perfectly but at night the light beam is too low having a real problem with this plus I can't replace it again cause we all know how difficult and costly it is to open the assembly. I was hoping to attach a leg guard and install fog lamps or any other additional lights to increase the brightness.
please help me out in suggestions for increasing the brightness.
    Hey.

Thinking of installing leg guard ?
It should be already there in FZ.

Yes you can install extra lights but first you have to understand what you have already done wrong by investing in Led projector light in your headlight. That's almost money waste I suppose if its not helping you in night.

Look for lights that has higher lumens (high lumen = more lights on road).
Also I would advise you should change your indicator bulbs and tail light to LED bulbs. It should not cost much but will help you to save some watts to reduce load on the poor small small of Yamaha FZ.

I've used and seen a lot of light setup in past and Believe me, the closer you put these led lights. The better they are.
Putting on leg guard means putting them too far away. I would suggest put them on the sides of headlight and and together they will give you a good throw.
Do not forget to add a fuse in between to as a fail / safe. And a extra switch for it.

You can get 10W x2 lights and that will help you drastically.

what is your suggestions?? any reliable LEDs that I pick up from Ali or local? I'm planning to mount them up on the leg guard..
Share your location too, people can help better that way. A lot of lights are cheaper locally than it us on Aliexpress / amazon.

You can buy auxiliary spot lights from Amazon or AliExpress...
Amazon will be a little expensive but will reach within 2-7 day... Product from AliExpress will be cheaper but will take 18-30 days... Also if you buying from AliExpress please choose AliExpress standard shipping or already China post registered shipping... These both provide tracking within country.. or if you can spend more choose premium shipping like aramax,Ems or DHL...

Hey guys just installed this new headlight led bulb... Bought it from AliExpress at around 925rs with AliExpress standard shipping... The bulb has 5 cob led chips...3 for low beam remaining 2 for high beam... In high beam all 5 beam are working... Though there is no cutoff for high beam so little light from low beam seeps into high beam area making it difficult to hudge between high and low ... It appears as if there is more light in high beam... But the lights are absolutely bomb.... Wayyy better than halogen... Though the shape of reflector is bad so any light won't be giving it's full potential... The low beam works at 18 watt and high at 35 watt...
Had to change the wiring setup from AC to DC... I don't know how as mechanic did it... But i think he cut off the wiring from AC and connected it to DC wire coming for flash switch which runs on battery... Also this led has little fan behind it as led produce lot of heat...
Here is the link if anyone wants to purchase it.. It'll be shipped from China and usually reached in 20 days..

Anyone in mumbai please suggest a shop selling authentic Philips or osram halogen. I am looking for either Philips rally 40w hs1 or Philips diamond vision 35w hs1 or Osram night racer 90.
Anyone with some user experience may also pitch in some information on the above units

Go to a local shop and replace the filament bulbs with LEDs units. Each unit generally costs around 30-60 rupees. Pretty standard
