Re: Bi-xenon projector bulb change
If I were you, i would't have done that having worked with projectors.Originally posted by sreenuu View PostIs there any hope of putting led in it ?
HID projectors are designed to work with HID bulbs only. LED projectors are completely different.
However, Aliexpress ships to India. Create an account and start shopping.

Is there any hope of putting led in it ?Originally posted by bobisbacktorock View PostYou can replace it with a LED bulb of similar type (Mostly H1), but you should expect adverse effect on illumination. The construction of a bixenon projector is done keeping in mind the HID bulb.

The problem is with Bajaj's design. Having worked on AS200, my observation is that the low beam projector cannot be focussed on the road properly. Even a the lowest setting, its not low enough.
Don't know why bajaj doesn't pay attention to such small details.
Though I did not try, but I personally feel, we can slightly bend the mounts to resolve this issue. Anyone willing to fix it should give it a try.
What I suggested should be a cake walk for any professional customizer in your city. Also, there should not be any need of cutting a single stock wire. Everything should be a plug and play.

My ride is a Pulsar AS200 which has stock H7 Philips 55w 12v for high beam and H7 Osram Nightbreaker 55w 12v for low beam projector.
I have difficulties in riding at night at high speeds because I find the projector intensity being low. I tried adjusting the focus but it has not been very fruitful. Can anyone suggest me options for better visibility at night on high speed riding? I am open to ideas and please feel free to make your suggestions. I will be glad to hear about it.
P.S.: I ride on highways, monsoon and uneven roads very often.

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Try installing led headlight bulbs.they are way brighter, direct fit to the stock holder and consume less power compared to halogen bulbs.i havent seen any good quality ones till now here in the local market but you can source them from aliexpress.Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostHello Guys,

Re: Let there be Light : Bike Lighting, HID etc
Please don't buy this light. It is like the worst led you can come across, Its like a cheap torch, just a small spot beam on the road and nothing else.Originally posted by anishkrissh View Posthttps://www.snapdeal.com/product/spe...with%20flasher
Has anyone tried it?how is this?Does it gets more light? Does it damages circuit?

Re: LED lamps on RE thunderbird
Try to fix a 4300 kelvin, H7 type HID bulb into the low beam projector. Use a 35 watts Ballast.Originally posted by ilyasbaig View PostHi can anyone suggest if its possible to change the stock lamp of the projector headlight of new RE TB 500 with LED bulb.. if so please suggest the model and also if any video or pics plz share
make the connections in a way that the Low beam projector keeps running even when you switch to highbeam.
High Beam = low beam HID + high beam halogen.
