Is there any 35w philips crystal vision/diamond vision bulb available in the market or online? coz the bulbs which are available are all 55w bulbs. Also suggest better 35w bulbs for me as i need it for night highway riding. Currently using the stock halonix 35w bulb.

Can any one of my fellow bikers here suggest a good headlight bulb for CBR 250R that doesn't have dark spots when on high beam & gives a good illumination on high beam with long range. I m not interested in projector lamps. I'd prefer something like Philips Extreme or Osram night breaker but with a bigger wattage.

    Thanks in advance.
    Approved and merged!

There are bulb upgrades from 300 rupees to 8000 rupees. Please go through this thread and essentially the last few pages.

i.- Long coverage of road by light in high beam mode and
ii.- At the same time, well lighted area of the next few feet of my right and left hand side.

    HERE ARE MY FEW QUERIES-
    1. Which light is best- Halogen/Hid/Led/Something else?
    2. What is the maximum watt, that my battery can easily handle?
    3. What is its name/model?
    4. What does it cost?
    5. From where can i buy it?
    6. To install it, do I need to use hot gun or it shall be fixed by opening the front part of the bike?( Basically I am worried after reading a thread that says that installing light will need a hot gun. May be my worry is baseless.)
    7. Please tell me that is it illegal to use such lights?
NOTE- If something more is to be added, please add in the information.

    Thanks in advance.

    Headlight modification

Hi everyone, since I have installed the projector headlights to my Bajaj V, I am not able to use the high beam for its high highest and also not to make blind other driver and riders.
So now I am thinking of fully modifying the headlights to classic round one and classic round shaped chrome speedometer+tacho+odo+ fuel.
    Please suggest me..

Anybody who wants projectors , i would suggest that instead of fiddling with your stock get an aftermarket headlamp with a projector.

Not only the job will be cleaner, but you will also have a untouched stock lamp to fall back to incase the aftermarket lamp has unsatisfactory beam which the cheap chinese ones usually have.

    Hi Skanda,
    Thanks for your reply.
From the beginning I was thinking of doing the modification of the headlights of my bajaj v and I was planing for classic round headlights, but then I let it undone.
I think this time I must do it..
Please suggest me whether it suit bajaj v or not.

I have asked the mechanic to adjust the light but he was not able to do that and told me may be showroom mechanic can do that without removing the whole headlight.
So,please suggest me how to do the alignment vertically because I am not able to use the high beam as because it may blind drivers from opposite side.
