    4) I am from hyderabad, and request some best place/person to get it done. please suggest.

Although late, these are my views for your questions.

    1. Yes and No, As far as i know there are different rating bulbs which can be used in Projector setup, based on that it may load or overload your battery.

    2. Usually a proper HID Projector installation is not a plug and play, so there are few steps which can alter the original settings. Based on these alterations the showroom can void your bike warranty.

3 & 4 i dont have much knowledge on this.

If you are not satisfied with your light output, you can check the alignment of the light and try adjusting it to get proper illumination on road, Many times a improper alignment or adjustment will give you worst output of a head light.
If not satisfied, got with extreme vision/night breaker kind of bulbs which will have a better illumination than the stock bulb.
If still not interested then go with aux lights(Cheaper than HID) or HID which will give you the best illumination.

My take will be going with Auxiliary lights, as its easier and cheaper than HID. you can always rely on your original light in case aux fails for any reason at the wrong time.

If so i can get the thing replaced.

    Thanks for the help.
I will not be too bothered with the mfg date unless it has an expiry date. Coming to the longevity of the bulb, no one can assure it. I have purchased few bulbs which was like glowing for years, and some got fused relatively sooner. So do not worry too much and start using it.

The LED HID which i am talking about the as per the below link (Maybe its only LED Headlight with ballast)

There are other brands also on Aliexpress.com which can be couried to India.
These bulbs are of no use. I have tested around 10 different models of LED h4 / h7 lamps the 6000k give around 1200LM of light with around 65-70CRI which is of no use. If you want a good LED bulb you will need to go for a 4200K bulb with 80CRI which very few manufacturers make.

Yeah the link you provided is just the LED (don't understand why it requires a ballast..is the starting voltage for the LED high? Not really sure. Only seen LED with heatsinks) . Just the LED wouldn't be worth much. You would need a projector along with it.

And the photo in that pic seems to be greatly exaggerated . This is why i don't want to buy from small unknown brands but the famous ones just seem to be too costly.
The LED bulb doesn't have a ballast. That is the driver box.

Lets see if i buy one, i will update you surely if it is good or not. For projector setup, we will have to open the headlight casing which might be the problem. Lets see. Will keep you updated.

Dont think there is anything like an LED HID brother (they are two different tech) ...think you meant a LED Projector setup which I admit would be a good upgrade if done properly.

I have completed 9800kms and only 1 free service is remaining so after that maybe will try this upgrade of LED HID.

Even I am looking at getting some aux led for my bike. Never thought i would do it but i have recently started going for rides with friends and with roads in our country not having street lights and unmarked speedbreakers I have given up and decided to do something about this. Kindly let us know what you come up with.

Now a question to the knowledgeable members on this forum. I too have an rtr200 and would like to get aux lights on it. Dont want to mess with the original headlight (though i might upgrade them to Philips extreme vision + later) especially when the stock headlight isn't really bad. I just need more light output for early morning highway rides.

I have gone ahead and made the following shortlist (I am not limiting myself to these options though). Kindly let me know your opinions on which one is the best suited (NOTE - I would prefer LED SPOT beams that are warm white in color ..Maybe too much to wish for ):

    1. Mxs Motorsport (Dont know much about their reputation but they are the only ones advertising rtr200 specific aux lights)

MXSORL129 Cree Led 4D Off Road Lights TVS Apache RTR 200 (ignore the url description)

I dont understand why they are advertising it as a flood beam and the output color as amber yellow (the image clearly shows something closer to 6000K). I will try and get more details to confirm this.

    2. a2Z (same deal dont know anything about them)

10W CREE LED ROUND - WARM WHITE.

I like these since they are advertised as warm white (want the extra lights for functional use and dont like the bluish white lights since they dont perform well in poor weather conditions). I was thinking maybe i could get two of these. However, the lumens output seems to be too low (1000lm in theoritical) and they dont have any warranty.

    3. Moving to Amazon now I have found one which seems to be quite similar to the one above just that the deal is much sweeter for Rs1800 (for a pair of lights). Also the seller is giving 3 months on warranty.

TARSIER High Quality Super Bright 10W CREE LED SPOT FOG LIGHT LAMP FLOOD LIGHT WORK LIGHT OFF ROAD 4X4 4300K, SET OF 2: Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

These are advertised as warm white too and are IP68 claimed but the lumens output seems to be low again.

    4. Another example on Amazon is one of those 3*2 led squares that i dont really trust.
AllExtreme 6 LED Fog Light / Work Light Bar Spot Beam Off Road Driving Lamp 2 Pcs 18W CREE - Universal Fitting hence Good Fit on all Bikes and Cars: Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

My understanding from a few accounts read online is that these 3W leds dont really have a good throw (as 10W leds) and so wouldn't work that well as spot beams.

    5. The Last one I came across is one of those U(5/7/9) series leds. I am not sure if these perform well (though they are the only ones that advertise 3000lm per bulb). If someone here has used them kindly advsise.

2x Motorcycle U7 Cree LED 3000LM Fog Spot Light Lamp for CAR/BIKE/ROYAL ENFIELD | eBay
2x U9 Cree LED 3000LM Fog Spot Light Lamp for CAR/BIKE/ROYAL ENFIELD | eBay

I have received suggestion from one of my friends to get the U5 series from Aliexpress which is one route i am looking into (https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...656829606.html)

If possible can someone suggest places in Bangalore where I can get the lights after checking out their performance and have them fitted professionally (I am very particular about not messing with the bike original electrical's) then that would be great. Though looking at the proposed circuit dig (stolen of the net) my friends have told me that I would have to do the work myself since no one would be ready to put in the required work . I am ok with that.

Leaving the reference link (How to Wire a Relay for Off-Road LED Lights - Extreme Lights) for someone who might find it useful.

Also last query can someone let me know if the Apache rtr200 has an accessories power line (like the duke) since i want to have the control input as a combo from ignition and a switch.
    ------------------------
Hey bro i have gone thru all the links for Auxiliary lights that you are looking for. But one thing why are you looking 2 side lights which are either 10W(5+5) or 18W(9+9).
These as per what i have seen on roads are only for show they don't throw that much of light on the road.
I am personally using 18W Cree LED Bar fog lamp single piece and have attached it on my numberplate. Been one single piece it has a good throw of light on the road. I use it as dipper light don't need to put the headlight on for atleast dipper. I have brought the switch for the same from online and have added a fuse for protection of the light. (here i think relay would be good will be trying it next time). there is also similar light but with more output of 36W this should be good i am going to buy this one next time once the one that i am using konks off. links are below
