RX135 crank web shape id different, hence has more volume (read some where not confirmed)

you can change the rod on the RX100 crank and use on a 135

Pls correct if my understanding is not right. IMO, except the length of the connecting rod (with 135 being little more than 100), there're no difference between RX100's & RX135's crankshaft. Even the con rods can be replaced on 100's crankshaft to fit into 135's engine.

cranks for both 100 and 135 are the same (as far as the shapes are concerned it is yet to be confirmed) but the following components are different
        washer-2
        collar
        oil seals
        bearings
        circlip

Urgent - Question on RX135 fork assy on RX100 frame

Guys, pls help me decide on this purchase. I've ordered for a RX100 front fork assy (that includes, tStem top plate, cone set, tStem bottom, fork top & bottom; part # - 4TLF-310010) but YMIS has shipped RX135 fork assy instead of RX100 fork assy. Can someone confirm if RX135's front fork can be direct fit into RX100's frame without even a slight modification? Appreciate a quick answer & confirm to get this shipped today. Thanks.

Thanks & appreciate your help. Have you experienced this setup? Are there atleast any microns of mods that needs to be done on the frame or the fork assy?

The reason I'm asking this is because, I already have a partial collection on the fork assy & this one is a complete fork assy & costs me a huge money. If I buy this, all the other partial collection are going to sit in garage for years & hence the apprehension.

^^ i think you are good to go. Just check the travel length of the suspension in both the service manuals i sent you. that will give you an idea if there is any difference.

Easy job, but increases the height of the vehicle

I got a brand new Amaron dry cell battery installed on my RX100 y'day. While checking output using a multimeter, it goes upto 17V when I raise throttle. Dealer said, it is alternator issue and I need to get it fixed.

Battery is 2.5amps and I run on stock horns and lights.

RR unit, wiring kit and bulbs were changed during 12V conversion done earlier.

Can experts provide me some pointers? Dealer opines my battery might conk off if not fixed early.

^^ how can the alternator be an issue. This has to be the rectifier. Because that limits the voltage to the battery. iirc.
