I have seen the first thing that people do when they have burn\heat wounds they put cold water in it... a Motorcycle crash and people try to remove helmet of the rider if he is dizzy or unconcious... Both of these are LETHAL but very common errors!
What do you suggest when the biker is dazed or unconscious, when it comes to removing the helmet? Instinct says it will make the biker more comfortable, and make breathing easier...however as you're saying its lethal, what is to be done??

No issues in removing the helmet but before that one should make sure that there is no cervical spine injury. CS injury is really harder to detect in case of unconscious or semi conscious patients and in those cases if someone try to remove the helmet vigorously, it can cause further injury to the spine which can leads to different plegias.
i think Sathyan was pointing on the same fact.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)
