    Which is the best for Pulsar 150 Dtsi

    K&N R-1100 or
    K&N RC-1060

    does re-jetting mean only adjusting the jet or putting a new one and normally whats is the size of the jet in 150 pulsar & if i upgrade it, which size & company should i go for

      go for the rc1060..more than enough..
      u could fit it directly to the carb or use a small extention...
      and abt the rejetting,it is a must - start with a +1 jet size and go up...
      most propably a +2 jet size must be enough...

        go for the k&n and rejet... along with ue ffe and high flow filter with rejetting u will definately get ~2 bhp with some engine work

          It is a P180 and not a multi cylinder 1000cc + engine to gain such 2-4 BHP increase with just those mods... gaining more power isn't so easy.

              Hi guys,
              I serviced my bike at the castrol bike zone yesterday and I rejetted my carb's main jet yeterday to the ZMA's jets. Ooops... I ride a P180 UG3 with K&N Rc1060. I wanna talk and question a lot about it but I'm too sleepy for today at work and i have clicked a few pics of the Pulsar's and ZMA's jets which i will be able to post only tomorrow.
              please bear with me till then.. until then wish me good nite..!!!

                Can anyone suggest me a good airfilter for scooty pep?? I dont know much about filters. Your inputs with model numbers etc would be very helpful.

                  @ gain 2-4 bhp

                  all you can get is somewhere around 0.4-0.5 bhp increase
                  nothing more than that

                      Guys planning to put K&N air filter for my FZ16. anybody has done it?
                      and how is it(increase/decrease in mileage etc. and also power). which air filter is suitable for yamaha FZ16?
                      can K&N R-1100 suits my bike?
                      pls suggest...

                              Dude, more top end speed needs sprocketing and stuff, just by adding a K&N will not give u any performance change except the roar!! that will make people think OMG what a sound!!. U have to do Up-jetting also for the mixture to be rich! or else ur' fuel mixture will be lean and u'll be even more slower than the other FZ's!!!!

                                thanx dual disc... if i have done the upjetting and what can i expect mileage from my bike... my average mileage is 40... how much less in terms of mileage and gain in performance?
