go for the activa the name honda stands for reliability since its for your father activa is the right choice with good rider seating position more comfortable and smooth much refined engine

Activa waiting period is huge and so is Aviator

        Go for
Access. It is a Great scooter.

        Also consider the Wego.

Consider Honda aviator......it has has got bigger wheels than activa+alloy wheels+telescopic front shock absorbers+disc brakes....it has also got smooth refined engine..typical HONDA.....mileage must be around 50kmpl..... lighter than activa...

Apart from mileage, Access is a better scooter than its competition.

But consider it if you have a good service backup of Suzuki in your area.

TVS Wego is the new thing in scooter world ! Go for a TR & your view will change towards it.

Friend the aviator disc brake has got nothing to do with for 40+ aged rider he is not gonna ride that rash why shed FE at the cost of discs the HH pleasure is also a better choice if your dad is not fat If he s bulky go for activa If you can wait a coupe of months vespa may re enter the segment which would be a more plausible upgrade Iheard the LML vespa geared version is still on sale but available only in New Delhi have a check on it too Why I am Asking you to go for vespa is your dad would have more acquainted with it in these years IF the vespa option is closed go for a pleasure or activa more preferably activa

In your budget...considering it to be 45K...

Honda Activa, Mahindra-Sym Duro are the only scooters that you can get (Excluding Scooty series).

Activa, you might not get it till Eid but If you can manage with showroom guys, they can arrange for you. Known for its quality, decent mileage and a better option when compared to Duro.

On other hand Duro, IS again a decent one..but get the Service ability of Mahindra in your locality checked before even considering this.

Rest all Aviator, Access, Rodeo are above 50K and my priority will be Access > Aviator > Rodeo.

I am not sure if TVS Wego is available in showrooms yet.

ummmm... May I get some help please?

                              Hey friends,
My wife is very keen to buy a gearless scooter. Today we went to Honda, Hero Honda & TVS showroom to take test ride on their products.

We have narrowed down to two
                              1. Honda ACTIVA
                              2. TVS WAGO

Honda has 25 days waiting period. It's not offering any accessories too, not even the front box to store stuff. I personally feel that ACTIVA is now very commonly seen on roads. It's just too ubiquitous. It has a bit of more storage space under the seat though. The petrol tank, as like others is under the seat & one has to open the seat to get access to the fuel tank.

WAGO on the other hand seems quite good. It's new with it's engine in middle rather than one sided (BODY BALANCE TECHNOLOGY). It has few accessories as standard part. It too has quite a large storage space under the seat but bit lesser when compared to Activa. The best part is to fill fuel, one need not to open the seat as it's external.

So, guys, please help me out with choosing out of the above. Honda has the biggest advantage of being one of the best in business while TVS is new but surely not a novice. Please help.
