    Hi XBHPians....!!!!

Guys, I have a 220F already , Just have got bored of it.So therefore planning to buy a new bike by this months end.

    My requirements are as follows
    1) Touring should be awesome
    2) Good Mileage
    3) Only 30% riding in traffic otherwise only on weekends
4)Reliability is of very much importance
    5) The bike should not cost me superbly on maintenance
and many more......... Experts please pour in your Gyaan
I stay in Mumbai so traffic is terrible. But as I said Touring should be awesome I shouldn't have a doubt about the reliability even for a 5000kms journey and should be Seriously reliable.

And If possible Can people also tell me about the waiting period for both the respective bikes.?

i could only wish God may i too have money like you really ...i am riding same old bike from 2006 till now...
I think you should go for R15... it will be light and quite different from 220 in handling...ZMR is again heavy machine better suited on highways...

i feel R15 is lighter than the zmr and easy to flick in traffic. on highways its a boon.

i am really wondering about the replys ..

For touring purpose no doubt Karizma (R or ZMR ) is the most comfortable bike in india . (that doesnt mean R15 cannot Tour or Karizma cannot hit tracks )

If comfortable touring is your primary concern Karizma shoudl be your choice .

If touring is of importance..I would blindly go for ZMR. R15 is good..but not comfortable as ZMR. Mileage wise both are equivalent almost.

please let me know why you got "bored" ?

I would suggest you ZMA-R because its a proven hassle free touring machine..!
I am not suggesting ZMR because spare parts availability for it would be a real headache for you..
Actually you cant go wrong with an R15 too ... it flicks like anything .. light and zippy.
                      Choose wisely.. !

Wow! Going by all your points I'm confused! Both bikes seem to suit your requirements. Extend your post with the 'many more' points here so this becomes easier. Or, best get both (if you're 'Really bored' with the 220 sell it off)!

Riding is a way of life. Sometimes, it might also be a way of giving life. So Ride safe. In both contexts.
