        ^^ on a serious note even I'm planning for the R-one-5 in same situation like yours, funds are permitting for the 250R but don't think I'll be able to handle the beast and take care of it and the most imp thing-won't be able to feed it !

            R15 is worst off here and all the mass produced Motorcycles in India fare better than 15. Period.

            It has been taken to Leh, doesn't imply it can off-road happily. A friend of mine from Hyderabad had to sell of his R15 post his Leh adventure. Similarly a RE isn't about track-riding, even if you are brilliant at it.

            Till 6", it won't be much of a problem. Owner ship threads are a good indication of how good/bad a Motorcycle is.
