Surprisingly, in Gurgaon, over the phone, they claim no waiting for the Aviator (disc).

btw, the Wego should be a decent option as well - looks nice as well.

IF looks matters for you then nothing in the list is better than DIO considering your age The colors are super cool.
Access has got telescopic front fork which has better braking then activa and performance of Access is better among these three. But if you rip the exhaust note of access becomes louder and rough unlike honda's ..

The Wego has harldy been in existance for a year now. How can one comment on its after sales price.

If you can endure the waiting list, then go for a HMSI Scooter

I would suggest either Wego or Aviator. Generally, Aviator has less waiting period than Activa. If you can search, you might get one with short waiting period. Handling of Aviator is very good with front telescopics. Aviator got very nice riding posture too.

If you are on less budget, go for Dio.

Stay away from Rodeo, it has very bad ground clearance and poor mileage, not to mention the after sales.

              Go For Access

I think that you should go for access 125. it has more peppier mill and has a very nice throttle response.

Thanks to all those who have shared their views here. I really appreciate it!
After much thinking, I realized I wouldn't buy a scooter if I did nothing but sittin' and thinking And so i did it! Today I booked a Honda Dio and will be getting it delivered after a waiting period of 2 months.
These were the factors which made me prefer the Dio(Not entirely technical, though):
It was the lightest among the lot and seemed perfect for even my sister.
The Look and the feel had a young appeal to it.
However, I did ask for the Aviator but it felt more bulky(personal opinion) and had a similar waiting period of 2 months(4 months ago, they told I'll get the Aviator withink 10days ). As of the other options like the Wego, I was simply afraid to make the leap as not too many Wego's were to be seen on the roads here in my place. Access was becoming too common and only recently my friend took one( everybody likes a change, doesn't they? )
And so it is. the Dio for me.!
Thanks to all for their opinions and views. Will post about it when I'll get it finally.

Is there any significant mod on your DIO? I too ride a DIO for whooping 90+ kms to my office every day. I am not able to push it anywhere above 80+ kmph....

                              Aviator or Wego or Pleasure

                              Guys,

I am planning to get a gearless scooter for my wife next month. My primary requirements are as below.

                              1. Scooter should not be heavy, it should not be so heavy that putting centre stand is difficult. [E.g I struggle to put centre stand on Activa].
                              2. Scooter should be trouble free and should not give needless issues.
                              3. Sufficient storage space under the seat.[Should be able to store the helmet]. Storage space at the front would be a bonus.
                              4. Should be easy to drive for a lady.
                              5. I am not bothered about mileage. The scooter will not travel more than 15-20 kms on a daily basis. [Wife will take it to office, grocery shops etc..that's it]

That's it. These are very simple requirements.

I have ruled out Activa and Access as I feel that these are heavy scooters. I like Activa though, me and my brother have abused it like anything and it still runs fine.

I have considered the following scooters for a TD along with my wife.

                              1. Honda Aviator [Need to check if it's as heavy as Activa. If so, it will be ruled out]
                              2. TVS Wego
                              3. Hero Moto Pleasure.

I believe that Aviator shares the same engine as that of Activa. Not sure why it's costs more than Activa.

What TVS Wego and Hero Moto Pleasure? Any reviews on them? On the net I have come across some starter motor trouble with Hero Moto Pleasure.

Do I need to consider other scooters? say Dio or Scooty?

                              Cheers
