It was an SUV, and definitely an M class.
Give it a try by hitting your handlebar.
    it hits the base.

Besides, even qualis's RVM are direct contact.
(didn't break one, but hit one)

and higher end cars like S class or beamers have lower RVM, our handle escapes from top.

Anyways coming back to the topic.
saj, are you happy with the new handlebar ?
so you aren't willing to buy a new steed for back issues ??
Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

No compensation money for a Merc RVM

New shocks r doing their job at its best and am also very much relieved from my back pain. For the past few days am depending on my car as the bikes clutch plates were worn out even though it's done only 12K due to no oil circulation on the plates. The oil filter was blocked with sludge, may be Monday onwards I'll be back on to that.

Am getting familiarizing the new handle, its slightly lowered handle so I think I am putting weight on the handle bar than previously. May be its my prejudice makes me to think like this: this causes more strain/fatigue for long drives as its not designed for a bike like Pulsar.

Anyways let me try this for a couple of weeks as I am hard pressed for time for the next 2 weeks to get it replaced and I want to DIY all these

May be after that FZ handle bar will go for give away to some fellow members. Let me see whether I can content with this or not then only I'll think of a new one, u know money is hard pressed and unlike u bloody bachelors, I have to be more responsible in spending.
Do it Yourself, what so ever, if Possible

Re: Best Bike/Scooter for Back pain issues

        Hi all

I am 5.8 ft tall, 65 kg and I own Pulsar 150 UG 4.5 version bike, being nearly 2 years old with 12000+ km run. I was suffering from severe back pain for past two months and i had to consult the physio regarding the problem. He says that my spinal cord is not in proper shape which is slightly curved in the upper part of the back. Earlier, before buying bike we had scooty pep which we owned for 7 years ... and I was not too comfortable with the scooty because of my height. Still I was using for years for regular commuting. I never came to know about this forum XBHP which had information for different types of vechiles before buying Pulsar 150. Most probably the bike also have caused the problem for me... Here in chennai, some roads are not proper in condition, so many pot holes etc etc are there. If I had suggested a good bike for my problem, I would have come in this forum for help. Just yesterday, physio told me that Royal Enfield classic 350 is best suited for my back problem. He says that previously he had Yamaha FZ-S bike and he had problem with his back while driving the bike. He sold the same and bought RE Classic 350. Because I need bike urgently. I have heard that RE gives bike only after 6 months from the date of purchase. That will take so long time. Please suggest alternatives which is similar to RE 350 or do I need to upgrade my bike seat.

Close to my house, there are 3 dealers ... Bajaj,KTM and RE. It will be easy for me to give for service whenever reqd.

I think avenger will be suitable for you. In case you riding with pillion, then extend the back seat.
