^^ Frankly you can find more people on the road with D100 to ask this. Most of the guys in our forum are bike enthusiasts and tend to go for 125+ bikes.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

You want to keep the bike for 5 yrs and worried about resale already. I am not sure which showroom you went to, but FYI, Discover is the largest selling bike right now. Look at the news thread, it has surpassed Splendor already. I have however not had a close look at the D100 neither have I had a chance to ride it, but looking at the sales and specifically the kind of customer who goes for it, I have no reason to doubt its quality or reliability.
However, I do seem to have a hunch that you are looking for a bike from HH or HMSI.
This might be your order of preference, in terms of mileage.
1) Splendor +,#,pro, etc. etc. ( I think either the Super splendor or NXG variant is 125cc)
2) Passion +,#,Pro or whatever the new stickering is called.
3) Honda Twister
4) Honda Shine - This is a pathetic piece of machinery (IMHO, I really doubt if this is really made by Honda and not outsourced to some cheap Chinese company). Not recommended unless you are a real big Honda fanboy.
5) Honda Stunner - This is something you might enjoy on the long rides and might actually give you the best of both worlds.
But.... A real big BUT, if you are really looking for something else
1) Discover 100 - The bike with the best mileage currently in the market.
2) Discover 125/150 - For those Long rides at the cost of mileage
3) Yamaha SS125 - Much more refined than the Discover 125
4) Yamaha SZ-R - A step above the SS125 but with a lesser mileage than the Discover150.Some of the Happiest people in the world don't have everything. They just make the best of everything life brings their way !!! Stay happy, Smile always :)

Dont worry mate. As I said, my friend got a D100. He is about the same weight as you but an inch or two shorter. He is pretty happy with the vehicle. Mileage, highway riding, cruising, city riding and reliability. I say D100 again.2004 Bajaj Discover 125 DTSi - 26000 KM - Sold

thats strangeOriginally posted by alurysharad2008 View Postthank you all. i will go with hh passion pro.
. a twister will be better if you have that honda keeda. it has a better milage, is a honda so will retain its value for long, is more reliable than your best friend. and to top it off is a honda

i would like to go that way but hh glamour has varying mileage in similar conditions. and shine doesnt shine as a honda product at all. it is just a cheap product from honda to lure in customers as the bike has so many vibrations from 50-60 kmph. not so honda at allOriginally posted by Satyamzma View Postgo for HH glamour or Honda shine....i do not recommend Passion for you..

True!! that's the reason why I never suggest Shine/Stunner to anyone. They are just selling on Honda brand name, rather than merit of the product. Between did you consider D100/D125 or are you allergic to BajajOriginally posted by alurysharad2008 View Posti would like to go that way but hh glamour has varying mileage in similar conditions. and shine doesnt shine as a honda product at all. it is just a cheap product from honda to lure in customers as the bike has so many vibrations from 50-60 kmph. not so honda at all
both of them give you very good mileage and trust me when I say Bajaj products are not as bad as people make them out to be. Anyway, if you have already booked Passion, congrats on your new bike
are they still using the horizontally mount engine?? I believe vertically mounted engines give better mileage.

really, on what basis is it the best option when compared to Yamaha SS125/Discover 125 etc. Is it in vibrating after 60kmph or in refusing not to go above 85kmph??Originally posted by xoham View PostHonda Shine is the best option which will last 5years very happily in my opinion. You may check out new Discover 125 also.Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/
