I asked where you stay because tathawade comes in pcmc (pimpri chincwad muncipal corporation) correct me if i am wrong. So even you get a good bike within your budget in pune but still you will be spending 3 - 5 k more for RTO charges and re registering the bike in PCMC Area as the bike will be from PMC (pune muncipal corporation)..

So i think you should look for bikes within PCMC locality like Pimple saudagar, gaurav, nilakh and all.

Hope that answers your question why i asked your location.

i dont understand why they have put an ad if they cant attend to calls

Dont know about lavale but you dont need to re register bike in PCMC RTO.
Only transfer of ownership which states change of address is required + NOC.
If you see any mailing addresses on those classifieds then try them you might receive response. Why dont you post your requirement on couple of sites?
If everything's under control, you're going too slow..

^^ dude, transfer of ownership, is necessary paperwork for buying any second hand bike right?? that will cost around a thousand or something near , right?

I am in the process of putting it up on a ffew sites now ! hopefully, will get something!!!

I have got an offer for a honda shine 2008 model- for 32k, negotiable
21k km run and the owner says it had 5 years warranty, meaning i will get warranty!
I never liked the looks of the shine( no offence to the owners )
so dont know anything abt it!
                    is this a good offer?

shine is a good bike but wont give u the feel of power....although it gives pretty good mileage.....depends on your priority if u want mileage then shine is good but 32k is a little too steep for it..........

But, The 5 year warranty is a very very tempting thing, No worry over maintenance for 2 years :O
I thought it had the same engine as that of the stunner??
Mileage is not the biggest concern because it wont be running a lot!

hmm, then what would be a good price for the bike??

if u intend to buy it then first check the paperwork and also get it checked with the dealers about the 5 years warranty.......and yet i still think 32k is a lot....shine wasnt a pretty successful bike....if u get it for 30k with transfer and the 5 year warranty checks out its a good deal....

check if its a complete engine warranty or does it cover only certain parts.....

Lavale falls under Pune RTO MH-12. PCMC RTO has MH-14. 32 k for shine is way too much. You can get a cbz extreme in tht range.

Had to stop the shine idea, it was the ,model without disc brake!!! And moreover i was thinking it had the same specs as that of the stunner!(which i like)
after researching i found that shine has 4 geared system
                              so dropped that!
                              Now looking at sulekha again!
                              And btw
to transfer a bike from pune RTO to pimpri, we need to get an NOC and form 29, no need to re-register!
And i can register bike in my bro's name, he lives at lavale, which is pune rto (thanks shrinathrao

guys how is apache, in the reliability scale? Havent heard much good things abt it :S
