    @prakash_mvpa
    No worries, that's what forums are for!!

    @pranay
    Exactly my thoughts on the Zma. No doubt, it's engine is it's strong point but the overall package of P220 is hard to miss. I did check with Probiking(btw, am in Chandigarh) here and they said black engine/alloy edition of P220 is not on the way, whether to believe this at face value is a moot point. One thing though, new P220s in stock have bigger mirrors and white rev meter dial. Like the bigger mirrors but not the white dial.

    One thing I'd like to ask P220 users: seats on a new bike seem hard enough. The seats on Zma were better, P220 has better riding position(imo). Do the seats on P220 soften after a few days for a cushy ride?

      @montiez: I ride a P-200 and I guess the seats of both the P-200/ 220 are the same. Let me tell you as bluntly as possible - the seats are the sore point of the whole package (be it the P-200/220)..Simply put, it just sucks!

        ^^+1. Couldn't have been put better.
        Pulsar seats are nowhere even close to the seat comfort of say ZMA or a Unicorn, especially the pillion seat. Rider seat is manageable at best.

          If for looks then P220 is fine, I mean mirror,seats, visors, rear disc(nearly dud) etc. gives P220 an edge over other bikes..

          But the saying "Dikhawe pa na jao and apni akal lagao" is sadly true , at least a "Karwaa sach" in case of P220.

              Well, seat comfort is a major consideration for me.

              So do I take it that the P220 seats won't get any softer? Is the suspension good enough to cover up this deficiency when going over bad roads?

                cmon dude u can go to any car/bike acccessories shop, puff up the seat by say one or two foam layers and ride comfrtably.. Matter of Rs.500/600. Im planning to do it.

                My friend has done the same and it doesn't look bad at all (if looks is the issue).

                    You get more "cushionable" seats for the 200/220 in the market. I cannot say how good they are though, have just heard about them cause they were in demand.

                    But yes, I think the suspension more than covers up for the deficiency, especially in bad roads.

                        Good choice frnd, Am using 220 for more than 10000 km now nd trust me it's a grt bike no issues so far, just take care for r nd she will do take care of u.
                        U will love it's torque sprd throughout the rev range which is idle for city irspctv of gear nd rpm it pulls really well. after 1000km try to use Motul 300v dats best for 220 IMO

                            Hmm...ZMA and P220 debate is infinitely flammable...
                            I have been using a P150 classic for over 6 years now. The engine is still un-opened for any reason (except tappet settings at normal and regular service intervals). The clutch plates were changed at 40K and the rear+front tyre at the same time. No change of front or rear brake pads. No maintenance issues...no rust...no paint peel.
                            Mumbai and Pune xBhpians who have been with me on the many rides can vouch for this that my P150 rocks.

                            Now there will be those who will say that "you have a one off piece, an exception". But I differ...simple care and common sense can actually see your bike last a lot.

                            Based on this superlative experience with the P150 classic, I acquired a brand new P220 three months back. Its too new to comment on the long term performance (I havent completed the runnin-in too ). I can only say that I may not have enjoyed any other bike (includin the ZMA) so much. Some of the points that I noted in the three month period that I have been ridin the 220:
                            1. The torque from the mill is so linear that it can blow away most of the competition.
                            2. The brakes are powerful.
                            3. The mill is responsive and vibe free (need to run it in properly)
                            4. The projector makes nite ridin a breeze
                            5. The seatin position places a lot of stress on the wrists initially but you need to experiment with a proper position to reduce that.
                            6. It is easy to throw around in corners and maintain the line or modify the line mid-corner.
                            7. PBK sucks. They could do with mechanics that understand the workin of a bike (but then, even the HH mechanics suck)
                            8. The paint quality is top notch.
                            9. The PBK mechanics put a lot of cheap oil on the chain without cleanin. When in motion, this oil coats the left side of the rear rim and the spokes and makes it dirty. Recommended that you buy the OKS or Motul spray.
                            10. I have been usin the Speed97 in my 220 from day one. This does make a lot of sense (for me at least).

                            Will definitely try to write a long term review after a year.

                            BTW, nice choice...better than most bikes that offer new stickers :P
                            Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

                              @niranjan, thanks for an overall review of the bike and PBK. Will keep the tips in mind. Do I need to spray the chain from day one or only later?

                                @niranjan bhai :

                                no doubt every bike has its own share of problems but if you talk about 220 and ZMA...the latter has proved its worth over a long time now and surely its lesser headache compared to its counterpart(as per reviews from owners on forum)...simple reason is ZMA has a very basic kind of a carb engine whereas 220 is modern age engine(atleast by indian standards)

                                i dont wanna raise any brand war here(i dont own any of these biggies...i got a puny160cc)...but opinions do vary as per personal experience...

                                @thread starter : congrats for finally making a wonderful choice...220 rocks...but even ZMA rocks BIGTIME
                                ...Back to HIBERNATE mode...
