      Wego/Activa.
Activa doesn't come in pink, Wego I'm not sure. Scooty Pep comes in pink.
      Whats there in a signature?

Mahindra Flyte/TVS Scooty should be available in pink. Flyte is a better bet, weighs about same as Scooty, it's got a good 125cc engine. But i'm not sure good service backup at your place as it's Mahindra.

If she likes going fast Suzuki Access or Mahindra Rodeo. Otherwise TVS Scooty pep or the Scooty Teenz.

Get her to agree to 125 CC scooter. I have recently purchased TVS Wego. Good scooter, does lots of errands but whenever me & my friend sits on it, it somehow feels bit underpowered.
Don't go for scooty, pep etc

              for you i have 3 products in my mind=new dio,suzuki swish,tvs wego.
i am more inclined towards wego.
but check out swish, someone here had same question ,i suggested him to take a testride of swish and wego,he and his wife felt swish was better and booked it.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

I don't know about TVS's service, but going with the VFM factor, I see WEGO has lot of positive reviews coming out. Don't know which city you're from, but their ASC's should be within the reach.

Scooter will be run less, my take. So, wear & tear would be less too. For that, TVS service is OK. If he is planning for major kms in a month then definitely some other manufacturer.

Do also give the Mahindra Rodeo a look. I don't know what FE it gives since my Bhabhi (Sister in law) has only managed to reach 1500km after 2 full years (with some sizeable contributions from me) and I frankly don't care what FE it returns as long as 100 bucks of petrol lasts like a month.

Why do I recommend it? Primarily for its practicality and zippyness:
                    1. There is a humongous storage space beneath the seat which is enough to fit 1.5 helmets (1 for bhabhi 0.5 for my 5 year old nephew) + other stuff like water bottles + vehicle papers. This space is definitely among the largest in segment.
                    2. It has a mobile charging spot in the storage area.
                    3. There is a light in the storage area.
                    4. You don't need to get off the scooter to refuel (== added convenience for ladies).
                    5. The scooter is zippy, brakes are decent, tire grip is adequate. It does 0-60 on speedo in 5.2 seconds with 80kg of my bulk loaded on it (There is a 0-60 timer on board which I used for this timing).

The thing with Mahindra 2Wheelers is that every alternate service is free (i.e. 1st, 3rd, 5th etc. are free), even services are paid. But considering the extremely low mileage done by our scooter, I cannot comment on long term reliability. What I can say however is it always starts in 1 crank even if it is parked for weeks at a time. The Sym 125cc engine is also quite smooth in operation.

So, if the scooter will be doing only extremely short distances, there is no harm in any scooter as long as it is practical and zippy. If however the mileages involved are higher than 500km/month, you might want to look at the more fuel efficient ones amongst the ones available in the market. So This Spreadsheet should help you in finding which has the best FE.

                    Happy Shopping

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                      Major concerns with Rodeo/Flyte:
                      1. Very low ground clearance (115mm). The bottom touches even with an average speed braker. It was a menace when we used the bike.
                      2. Low fuel economy; only 40 kmpl.
                      3. Small seat on Flyte makes seating uncomfortable with more-than average adults.
                      4. Service was a major issue under Kenetic. Don't know how good Mahindra service is.

Everything else is superb with Flyte. 0-60 is somewhere around 9 seconds.

Another one to add from our family's experience...

Our sister-in-law got a Rodeo more than a year ago in Trivandrum; they noticed something very minor (not sure what, but I guess something on mirror or so) during the warranty period; the dealer promised to get that fixed; despite her Father-in-law's best efforts, they couldn't get it done till date.

Ofcourse she'd 2-3 falls during this time & several things couldn't be fixed after that. The ASC was lacking parts & they always blamed Mahindra for not sending parts on time (all this one year)

It was only about 2-3 months ago, they'd told me this & I immediately suggested them to post it on Twitter account where Mr.Anand Mahindra tweets often. Don't think they've done it until now.

If you can wait, there is a very high chance Yamaha is going to release scooters in August.

I saw the Hero Maestro in Hero showroom here in Hyderabad. Looks bulky and is essentially the same Activa underneath (with the new fuel-efficient 110cc engine from Honda). If looking for Activa, this could be a choice with minimal waiting period.
