Only 3 Discovers are currently on sale, 100cc, 125cc & 150cc. Another 100cc Discover at a lowered price point of Rs.42000 will be launched very soon.Originally posted by monstersid View Postplease tell me if bajaj discover sports edition (135cc) is available in Pune??i cant find any instances of it in the bajaj website!!Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

In My Opinion, p135 is better than Sz.... because p135 has got more power, more Style, good price than Sz.....Originally posted by monstersid View Postthanks for the suggestion..is sz a better option than p135???how much mileage does it give??
SZs mileage would be around 50.....Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'i'm possible'! -Audrey Hepburn

Size gives 42kmpl at the max. Just check with some non-exhagerrating Sz users. P135 is the king of that segment.Originally posted by Berlin View PostIn My Opinion, p135 is better than Sz.... because p135 has got more power, more Style, good price than Sz.....

One request as a forum rule. You can see there is a "+" button which is a multiquote button. so click on all the "+" buttons and a quote button to multi-quote all the messages in a single post. That way you don't have to post a new post for each reply and that would save the cluttering of posts in any thread. See here how I have quoted two posts. This one is a strong forum recommendation.Originally posted by monstersid View Postthanks for the info!!!good to know!Whats there in a signature?

Going for P135 vs SS125 is like choosing between P220 and ZMA.
So I guess if your requirements are VFM then go for P135 and it wont dissapoint you, where as you're looking for reliability and have a habit of abusing the bike(Constant redlining.) then the SS125's best suited for your needs.Motorcycling Experience:

If you're looking for performance + Mileage its P135. If you want a sedate and most refined bike it has to be Honda Shine. Mileage is also better than SS125 and also the sales. If you are going to wait till June please check out the new Discover going to be launched with monoshock. thanks for the suggestion...I dont want to wait till June as I have already waited for 4 months to buy a bike..now its time to buy in the beginning of May (after getting this months salary..:-))..so I have to take a decision soon..Honda Shine is a new one added to my list now..will check it out!!!Originally posted by Enthusiastic View PostIf you're looking for performance + Mileage its P135. The thing is I always was against Pulsar as it has become too common these days..thats why I didnt add Bajaj wen i posted this thread and said that I m inclined towards Yamaha or Honda...Now since all of u are suggesting for the P135, I guess its worth a shot!!!Thanks for ur replies guys!!
Also I read somewhere there Bajaj bikes are less reliable than Yamaha (require more servicing, more faulty parts etc.etc.) and as one of my requirements is long term hassle free riding, i was chosing those 2 brands.Last edited by monstersid; 04-28-2012, 12:31 PM.
