Are you talking about Shreeram Bajaj Chandrajit?

        Yes Shreeram Bajaj indeed.

Also, Let me describe my first few experiences.
NS - I was blown away/completely sold after looking at that bike in flesh. After sitting on a stationary bike i could feel that i could grip it well with my thighs and since I'm 5'10", I had no issues with sitting on the bike atleast. But this is my initial impression, I did not get a test-ride

Same day I visited a RE showroom too (I havent ever ridden a RE, though i have applied for a loan for an RE Electra 350CC), so I wanted to test ride an RE electra. First thing, kicking the bike is such smooth experience,(Electric start on the test bike wasn't working). Though, i dont own a bike, have very little experience with a bike, i felt at home as i started on that Enfield Electra. Compared to the way I felt when i sat on NS, there is a small bit of discomfort sitting on any bike as you leave your normal posture, all this just to fit in the bike frame; with Enfield, there was nothing like that, felt that there was no change in my natural posture at all. Took it for a short round, riding that bike you don't feel that the bike is getting stressed at all

Coming to reliability of the two machines. With me, I live in a house where I will have to park my vehicle on the road outside and since the monsoon is very near, I am a bit worried if the RE might catch rust (yes i will be putting a cover on it). Also, it will have to take all the seasons as they come, being on the exposed road. I don't know if this round goes to Pulsar NS or the RE Bullet. But again, someone reminded me that RE is a time tested machine, so I should not worry about those factors. What do you guys think.

Having finally ridden an Enfield, which is not a 0-60 machine and comparing it with a 0-60 machine (NS). What I experienced on Enfield is entirely new to me. I dont know what sort of experience i shall long for, in the longer run . I am really confused which bike to own.

I am yet to test ride an NS, if i really-really like it, I might cancel my RE plans.

Lastly thanks to all the Xbhp'ians for helping me out.

If you like electra then you may get it hand to hand by just a bit of jack... though for classic you would have to wait 4-6 months in metro even if you have a jack but in suburbs you will get it in 2 months or lesser of you have jack.. I would advise you to go for bullet... nothing is like a bullet... experiencing it myself

Chandra: First decide what would you like to own ?? a street fighter ??? or a king ride ??

Now a days RE is more stable and well accepted by people in india which results in mamooth wating periods for it's bike!!

No doubt it's a nice bike and will come out with flying colors. But my friend it's a different bike altogether than RE ! You can flick with this bike, sometime race it against time, etc.....Which you can't do with RE. RE is straight and crusing bike, need to ride with big resposibilties/discipline. It's a huge bike with huge power. NOT AT ALL FOR FLICKING /CORNERING OR RACING !! Just built to feel the two wheels and enjoy with your one loves. you take RE to any corner of this world with out a question of comfort!!

in terms of reliablity it will last more than any palstic bodied bike !!

Rust can be prevented by proper care, like antirusting/teflone quoting , etc.

                  a miilion dollar question .

ask few question to your self ?
                  1. Will i race when some other bike just passes by me like Vroooommm?

If Yes then NS, If No then RE

                  2. I would like to cruise and enjoy the biking feeling and certainly do long tours?

No then NS, Yes then RE

                  3. I want o fickle on streets

                  Yes NS, No RE

                  4. Thinking for Family rides too (Mom/Dad).
                  No NS, Yes RE

Touring can be done on any vehicle it's how adamant you are, but comfort comes with RE only.

Mileage would be nearly same on both machine.

All I can tell you is, test ride both, the answer will be more than apparent. There would have been a proper contest had you compared the NS to the 500. But the 350 really has no chance.

Thanks for your response, its really helpful. Im thinking that I will have to make a compromise in any of the choices. I'm trying to get a test-ride of NS. Showrooms are not giving away their bikes for test rides. Will let you guys know of my experience when i test-ride the NS.

Hi Antz, even I am trying for a test-ride. I am finding it a bit of a challenge as its difficult to convince the showroom guys to give their bikes for a test-ride.

                          Hey guys,
I got to test ride a 200NS yesterday, yes the bike is great. But, i remembered my test ride of the Bull and....
                          I've finally chosen a Enfield Electra 350.

Special thanks to all the BHPians for helping me with this one.....

i am riding NS for about ~80K kms.

No, but there is "an option" in NS to ride slow, not "the compulsion" that you can't hold on to 100+ without nerve shaking vibrations.

rode 700-1000 kms each day for multiple days on NS. doing triple digits all day long with minimal vibrations but I could still see traffic behind me clearly in Rvm.
