wait a minute , if i list downall the recommendation ,
may be yamaha szr is most recommended bike.
szr is not well accepted bike in dhaka city. due to that you will enjoy a price gain at only 186,000taka. If you have start and stop drive,, Torque of 12.8Nm @ 4500rpm will keep others busy to catch you.
this bike is a combination of low end torque with decent power at top end.
    yes yamaha.

Freind: 186,000 taka, SZ comes for 65k on road here in India and i gues it would be less compare to india?? or you meant %

@TS: And i have read in FacebookKTM section that KTM is vailable then why not other higher segments???

How can a bike running on 90km/hr gives an average of 40+kmpl??

unless untill it's a 100cc range bike. effortless 90km/hr is not for sure!!!

speed comes at price of power which indirectly hit your average.

If you need some good bikes with average than SZ/Unicorn/P135/P150 are there which should give you always an average of 40kmpl+.
All bikes above 125 cc and below 180 cc presently on the indian biking arena have the capability of giving 40+ mileage at constant 90 km/hr speed..
P135, sz, suzuki 150r wins this battle with a mileage of 45-50 at this speed. and an fz or fazer is just on the margin - they give exactly 35-40 mileage at speeds of 90 km/hr.

Mileage problem is more when you increase the speeds above 95.. The air drag sets in so much that all bikes have to put in that extra effort to move forward. The engine remains as fuel effificient as it was, but at above 95 its literally pulling three guys in place of one.

Bike riding on 90km/hr gives 40km+ i still deffer from your statement here.

90km/hr is some good speed so it won't give you an average of 40+kmpl at any point if you ride 90km/hr. Yes less than that 70km/hr would give 40kmpl.

I have ridden most of the 150cc bikes including unicorn and P150 bike crossing 90ot 90km/hr don't give 40+kmpl.And heard from many too.

Only a bike around 100cc can give an average more than 40kmpl+ if ridden at 90km/hr

Friend we have to comprise on some of the things...We won't get Mileage with power and Speed. Cruising is something bike does with out any hesitation and in such scenario average is killed.

@TS: Any 150 cc apart from R15 would give you a decent figure of average, and ridding it sometime on 90km/hr won't effect your fuel expenses much!!!

bro my bike was smooth later became harsh....and it started to vibrate from 4k rpm mainly from handlebar and footpegs and @100kmph the whole body vibrates.

CBR 150 bookings started. Price will be around 1.35lakh
i dont think the fairing is just for show.....i tried it...it reduces wind blow by a great extent and feels awesome

if you have no fully synthetic oil available.. Fz is just another bike.. My bike appears rough with mineral.

Regarding problems at constant high speed rides - ppl complain of cylinder problems and piston seal breakage and oil consumption. Post 13786 may be of some help..

Vibration less bikes at 90km/hr means some with bigger engine like 180cc/200cc/220cc/ or R15 or CBR150.

but surely not a average fellows.

Are you going to ride it it at 70-90km/hr daily continuously ??

          I don't think so...

Read your mind and necessary mostly people some time hear/see and make mistake of buying something which lure them and land them in trouble later...

One thing is sure Average and crusing speed doesn't come together.

Now we are in an era where we are tied to have bikes with 40kms becuase we need speed/power/ cornering/etc. but average is still what pocket permits.

So hear your instinct and buy what ever you like.
bro i said 70-100kmph.....my instinct says to go for fazer/fz

So, @Thread Starter my friend, I guess you will have to compromise somewhere.

Either compromise with FE and go for FZ
Or compromise with speed and go with Unicorn
Or compromise with vibes and go with RTR160
Or compromise with budget and go for CBR150R.

Take a pick, now the ball is in your court.
bro cbr150 is not available here. i think FZ/fazer it is

bro i have great fear for CBZX due to its vibrations at handlebar and footpegs that killed the enjoyment of my trips many times...thats why i'm seriously confused

everyone i'm going to let you know what i have decided pretty soon and after then please give me valuable advice. i;ve been recruited in a new job so after knowing the salary i'll tell you what it is.
if the salary level is above my expectations than FZ/fazer it is
if matches my expectations than CBZX/SZR it is

finally i have decided......if i have to buy my next bike then FZ16/Fazer it is. today test ride most of the bikes. here goes my experience:

Hunk/cbz: slight vibes creeps in mainly at handlebar and footpegs over 4k but handlebar vibes aren't that noticeable if handle bar cover is on. but at high rpm above 7k it is transferred to whole body. relatively smooth and quick. but these vibes has set me back.....so cbz/hunk removed

Unicorn: its my current bike....love its everything except for the looks.....great mileage, vibration level is very low even at 9k rpm. need a change and now the styling factor has become a issue......so again unicorn? no......

Apache hyperedge: i hated those vibes seriously......removed....

Pulsar 150 ug4.5: smoothness seriously impressed me, midrange is a let down.handling was below average (compared to my cbz/unicorn), mileage is great, vibes over 6k rpm. new p150 is definitely a lot better than the older one. but it is too common and everyone owns it. so removed

yamaha fazer: i'll rate it as the second smoothest bike after unicorn. top end is not that good compared to its rivals. mileage is definitely below average compared to its rivals. braking is the best, handling is the best, riding fun is the best and most of all it doesnt vibrate....i ripped it hard engine felt stressed but no vibration at all.....i was amazed and the engine quality felt superior than all the others.

so i have decided to buy whether FZ16 or fazer.....even if the mileage is low but the riding pleasure compensates for all of it.

thanks everyone......its been an honor to be with you all.
