Nice Conversation is going on here.. so thought of putting my leg also in this

Even I am big person ( 103 kg in weight and having height of 6.3" inch).. few days back just took the test ride of Yamaha SZ-r, and guess what I am very much impressed with pickup... even showroom guy told me mileage will depend upon your riding habits.

45kmpl in 150 cc bike which is only 65000 on road.. is worth.. in my option..

Apart from then we need to increase the budget upto +70k rs...

What you ppls suggest...... one more thing.. SS125 is damm good bike in lookwise... but have sleek tank, sleek rear tyre.. you need to change to have better grip on the road

^^^ Well D150 also gives 55kmpl mileage easily and it costs atleast 4-5k less when compared to SZ-R!! So, if someone is on budget, heck even if they are not D150 makes lot of sense for a good city bike.

sz suffers from the same fuel-inefficiency of fz engine, although a little better a figure.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

Nahi yaar.... i know bajaj is doing very good in sales figure... but I will not going for any product from bajaj... i suffered alot... first in 2000 model of pulsar 150cc then 2010 model of p150, damn engine last for only 22,000km.. with all proper service maintains.. that also from Service center.....

So , my heart broke down for pulsar150 .. though p220 is still iin my mind..

Go for Yamaha SZ-R, you won't regret anytime. it does gives 55kmpl. And it was good decent power for city and highway too. Nice in handling and fun to ride

Yamaha SZ-R cost approx 67k in Mumbai so as Kolkatta and Mumbai have same figures of tax it will be same approx or 1-2k +/-

sz-r shares the same engine of fz,but de-tuned,but mileage has not improved drastically,it is more in the 42 -44 range.
and the question remains why do i race?

This are wrong figures my friend. I know many happy SZ R owners who claim 50-55kmpl on highways. and 45-50kmpl in city.

if above figures are for city then it's correct!

And even i had my friends FZ for 3 months and it use to give me 40-45kmpl highway and average speed 40kmpl in city

sz-r doesn't give constant 50 within city.45 is more realistic figure.the thread -starter is interested in city-mileage-figure.i am least bothered about highway mileage figure.
