In terms SZ has good figures for mileage and 45kmpl-50kmpl is not bad either in cities and it gives good figure in highways too.

Else there are other options too like P135. goodhandling and mileage decent power. But again it's a Bajaj.

and that's not a bad thing right??
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
      #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Even my discover 135 gives 50~52 kmpl in city... SZ-R is lower in power
Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

Let me chip in with some points about SZ-R. I own that bike and my bike is from very first batch that hit the YFS Mumbai.

I will come to mileage part little later, let me talk about its built quality. It is decently built bike, well pretty decent i must say. I was a victim of hit and run, one Zen Estilo hit my bike from back on silencer when I was waiting on signal. what one should expect is that silencer should come out of bike, but it didnt, it was out by a half an inch but did not fall out of it, even after that there is no problem with bike, no imbalance and etc. Its pretty maintenance free bike, other than regular services I didnt do much on it.

Ride quality is good, light front end makes it even better in city ride. I did little touring on it too, its good on highway too. Many rides to mountainous roads, and highways, it did not disappoint and I am even planning inter-state ride on it, I know it is capable of it. Pickup is good, my friend nearly fell from bike when I started bike from signal and mind you I start my bike on 2nd gear always, not on first gear, still it kicked-in nice. Rode this bike in the region of 70-100 continously for about good 80-100 kms on NH4, it was fairly comfortable.

Mileage of SZ-R depends on 2 things, proper run-in and your riding habits. Run-in plays a very very important part in mileage, do a proper run-in and it should be good. Mileage figures are not great but they are satisfactory. Never got below 40 kmpl, average I get is around 45-46, maximum I got in only city ride in green economic zone was 53 kmpl. I abuse this bike on mountainous roads, upshift at around 7-8 K RPM everytime and when I am back in city with normal riding conditions it is normal again.

Test ride it, and then choose it.

If you are getting 150 CC bike, mileage around 45-50 kmpl is always good figure.

Also attaching my bike's photo which I took when I was on way to Mumbai from Pune, hope you will like it.

            Cheers!

P220 is best in it's class. You get almost every thing in <90k. One of the most loved bike in India.
