All said, any recreational bike/car/whatever has to be a Hooligan to give the right kicks. No point in having any stock engine. Above all, it has to be bullet proof to take on anything.

it should be a ZMA/Fiero in 4 strokes or Yam 5-speed/Shaolin in case of 2-strokes

^Rule out Zma man. That long stroke motor spoils the party. With whatever cam or anything, it can never be a screamer or scary. Cant rev any harder without killing itself.
Rule out Shaolin also, coz you get almost nothing as spares and also the RX is a better and more potent engine anyways.

Did u mean kiss ass or kick ass? . They are two different things

Oh really. Now who is talking about touring here. Its a weekend blast thing we discussing here. And all are not as modest as you are.
As usual your gyaan, bring it on. This is a short-cut to invite mods to this thread now

                  • i have a lean build and 'm 167 cms tall.
                  • i need a bike to enjoy riding nothing else : not for drag racing , not even for show off. just to ride alone at any speed or with friends (not as pillions) on small outings.
hey bhp=torque x rpm brother, I can understand the kind of bike you need... Go for ZMA, you will enjoy riding at any rpm and any speed ... and it has a bit less maintanence ...

i agree on on this . I used to ride one of my friends' suzuki fiero back in college days. it was surprisingly light and agile. at just a hint it would do the wheelies.

congratulations and all the best.. (just to add i have known of karts built with pony hero puch 2 stroke engines)

                      @samarth and mithun

as regard to zma i think i should have a TD (or rather rip drive) to know about it

As per the thread owners first post, FZ16 is the best choice I think. Very comfortable ride with gud handling. And don't hav any vibration and all even at top speeds...

                              thanks .
pics should follow in few days. the bike is in mysore (thats where i bought it). i had to return today for office . as it all happened so fast i didn't had time to give the bike for service (though it is in perfect riding condition) but still. it will be serviced and few parts replaced (choke wire that is broken and the seat cover). it has the low original seat and i love it . can't wait to get it to b'lor.

                                a case for ct1oo

i know ct100 would be kind of least preferred/expected bike to be used for recreation... but then.. on Saturday i visited my brother's place who is using ct100 for daily commute. this was the same bike which i used to ride some time back. now something has completely transformed this bike. it revs so easily up and pick up has really amazed me.

i don't know what my brother or his mechanic has done to it but it climbs speed very easily/freely all the way till 65kmph just like a 2 stroke and way different than his earlier classic pulsar 150. i mean without any ado it accelerates to a respectable speed and it is fun to drive in city.
this bike has been returning poor mileage (50-55 kmpl) for a 4stroke 100 cc. but the trade off in pick up and acceleration is amazing.

i posted this just to express my feeling how this 100cc 4stroke changed my perception and almost changed my decision before discovering the rx135 on Sunday. it might take another week before the rx lands in b'lor
