200NS is costing approx 30-40k difference, and we get apporx same power and speed so why not a 200NS ??? Why to pay more extra ?? Any ways 200NS is winning the race with good averages as informed by the 200NS owners

KTM is better than 200NS apart from it's average!! every one knows that.

My friend its not just power and speed, like i said Its the feel.. love the away adrenaline rushes in my blood every time i rev it , Believe me i quit smoking after bringing Duke

you are not paying extra, it got lot of tech compared to NS,Regarding its stability at higher speeds, i dint face any issue.. You cant complain on wind blast on naked bike ,do you?

And i got 50kmpl with pillion for sane riding .. after 1st service hope i can make it bigger

      Guys,

Kindly refrain from posting long posts now, as it would be of no practical use. That's because, the thread starter has opted for Duke 200. Thanks.

Sorry Mods for posting again in this thread. But this time it's only to clear confusion. Please delete the post if required.

And i know suppliers who supply parts to Harley, Ducati, MV Agusta, triumph etc. and having seen many of their parts, i said the build quality of KTM was not exotic! !
Bro .. Sorry if I was impolite. But we all know that KTM pats are not sourced from Europe, otherwise the bike wouldn't come for a price tag of 1.3L. But my point is, this bike has any excellent build quality if you compare it to any bike in that price range. But comparing it with Ducati, MV augusta etc. is like comparing a hyundai i10 to Ferrari or Merc or Audi.

Sorry if I was impolite. But nobody can have every bit of knowledge available for anything.
please list down the draw back of 200NS over Duke ??
I was not comparing Duke and p200ns. I was suggesting to compare two or three bikes in every aspect before deciding which to buy.
Yep This is true that Duke spares are affordable as compare to CBR or R15, but still i have a doubt whether Duke/200NS both spares are at similar costing ??
There isn't much difference spare cost wise.
And friends lets don't make this DUKE Vs 200NS war ground here!!!!
Me too against any brand war here. I only tried to convey the message that before deciding what to buy, it's best to TD and research all bikes in mind with inputs from already owners. Then based on one's personal requirement one can choose any bike.

          @AnupamOnWheels

No i wasn't offended at all...And regarding comparisons You can compare KTM's you get in europe and US to Ducati's and Agusta's definitely...even if it is a 200 duke and a ducati 848, the build quality of both of them is premium! And one more thing, if KTM company markets such products as premium and on par with international motorcycles, then why do they wanna give a substandard product to Indians? This suggests that we are second class compared to other European nations! But that suggests that you can bring doen the price to 1,10,000 for a duke which is manufactured in India, since here the labour costs are just too low to tell you infact! And it also tells that the company just rises the price because of its brand name which is not ethical...!

There is a bike called N250r which is exactly same as the international standards but @ 3.2L for mere 250cc!!! How many of Ninja do we see on roads today ?? But We see more CBRs on road in 250cc segment!!

There is one more bike called R15 and it was priced @1.17L for mere 150cc one of the best bike !!! in 2008 till today how many R15 we see on Road today after 4 yrs ??

Brother when a company decides to launch a product they have to see the people interest and market capabilities too.

When GT250r was launched we started critics on the V twin cylinder bike and comaparision was with N250. why ??? becuase it was price again.

My only point is If Duke comes as of international standards quality which are sold out side then this Duke would have been priced near to 2.7 OTR. then how many of us would have gone for Duke at that price...

We want good quality but at less price whcih is not possible.

We are not second class, but we din't see that speedy develoepment as compare to others. Today we are developing and we do see bigger segments have already launched here!

Brother very soon we will get all the best products here!!
