Hello.I am Shrey. This is my first post on X-Bhp and having gone through countless threads i m a big fan of this forum/community...I'm looking to chose a new motorcycle for me.My budget could extend to 1.3 or 1.4 lacs. Most of my riding would be done in the city itself. Also, the look of the bike is important my search narrowed down to P200NS,R15,APACHE RTR 180,KTM DUKE 200...thanks in advance

        Welcome to the XBHP ...

Duke - For city ride there is no good bike as Duke, looks are very good (personal opinion) go for it if you like duke....

R15 - A track bike, not for city traffic anyhow, great handling/cornering, great performance, stability, looks...solo rider only...

P200ns - Looks like perfect in every dept. good for city (more than rtr and lees to duke), you will save lots of money, as the bike has just arrived on the roads, it will take some time to say and think there will be no big issue from the bike in future also, if you like pulsars go for it....

RTR180 - If one can bare with some vibs. its a great bike, the first Indian bike with ABS under 1 lakh, no big issue with the bike, great looker (new version)..good for city ride...

Before selecting any machine go throw from the ownership thread...

If you have that much budget, surely go for DUKE 200.
still, would be better if you test ride it all, and then decide. BTW, duke is very good for city riding, and minor off-roading as well.

If it is city riding, take off R15 from the list. Rest of the three bikes will serve you very well for city riding. Personally post upgrade RTR's are looking more like Pulsars. Between Duke 200 & P200NS, if you got the money go for Duke 200. It's a different motorcycle or should I say pure in it's character. It doesn't want to be good at too many things, it's just a very focused street bike, that can be taken to a race track. P200NS will be a close second here, advantages for P200NS are cheap service costs (compared to Duke200, it's costly due to FI), presumably cheaper spares, since it's a Pulsar.

^^Buddy, since you narrowed the list to P200NS & Duke 200, take good long test rides on both of these bikes (bribe sales guy so that he allows you for a long ride ). That will make lot of things clear. I'm sure your heart is set on one of these bikes, end of the day that should be your choice. After all every time that bike passes you, you don't want to think like, damn it, I should've bought it!

Now a days i keep seeing there is a question "which bike" but R15 and Duke are always included in their confusion!!

Where as both bike are very different from each other. I see riders not finalzing the type of Ride before opting a Bike !!

Same is here!! There are many riders leaving happily with R15 in city traffic just becuase they wanted that looks and sport feel. With that Hand pain in traffic, But still super duper happy with the bike performance! Hardly any one on this forum reported any issues with R15.But personal opinion R15 is strictly no in city traffic!

                      IN city ride ???

from top i see only one bike with better safety aspect i.e RTR 180ABS.

Friend ABS is of great help, trust me i have ridden CBR ABS on highways and i see the difference of ABS Vs Non ABS performance on roads.

Duke/R15/200NS are best but still ABS is ABS. as you opted for it as a choice so talking. RTR180 is capable of reaching 120kmph+/- with ABS and enough power to roam around city!!

Do think. having a feature is not bad, you can see the difference on high speeds!! It won't allow to lock up the wheels or skids !!
