Re: Begginer confusion
Hey . being a young rider i'd also like to give in a quick input .
Even my situation was similar to yours . i was going to get a bike . my first bike .. Before learning how to ride .- i had no friends to teach me how to ride - i had friends but they didnt teach me idk why the hell. So i had started searching the forums .
The more you search the more options open ..
I asked myself what i wanted from a bike .. I wanted a long lasting one . a refined engine . not a loud mouth
ignore the pun . so i had narrowed my choices to 2 .. Fazer and a 200 ns .
50 cc .. And some 1-2 k price difference.. I cud have gone for fz sure but i loved the fairing .
I didnt test drive either but i searched . a lot of reviews . a lot as in i could do a PhD in it .. I mean i knew the most a person can without actually knowing how to ride ..
So i zeroed in on fazer .
Took me a week to learn to ride ..
Then and now.
I feel 150 cc is more than enuf for the city .. Sure a 200 cc would be better.
But theres also this feeling of wanting more. Now knowing more abt bikes . i envy the 200 cause of the extra cc and the lovely 6th gear ..
As time passes by . u will want something new . its human tendency . to want what we dont have
.
So to sum it up .. Ur decision . live with it .. Once you decide dont give others the power to doubt ur decision .
Goodluck ...
Be safe

Re: Begginer confusion
Ask for any of your friend's or relative's old 100-125 cc bike and practice riding it for some regular days (1-2 months at least), or you can hire one. The problem with gear shifting is due to your lack of experience and adjustment with clutch and gear pattern, which will be removed within those days. After that get a new bike. I'd suggest 150 cc bikes for you, but not the 200ns for a biginner, it can be dangerous.
