Well I am a big fan of yamaha maybe because yamaha was the first bike I rode. [except for mileage issues of course.]
CBR doesn't appeal to me sexy looking but if the package is worth it with FE of 40+ then I definitely will think about it. No friend of mine has 150R so I can not test ride it maybe I will have to take my daddy on my friend's CBR 250. But still my personal opinion it doesn't make me feel worth for myself.
GS150r looks different and after sales service and availability of parts is a concern with Suzuki.
U might not believe but the guy in honda showroom was saying you don't need disk brakes on 150cc when I asked him about dazzler so I didn't questioned him anymore and left ! !

    @sayank
Riding Duke feels like something else its just different ,I rode it when it was being tested. And NS and Duke both won't give me average more than 40 I think and maintenance will be high.
Well I can only go to showroom to test ride and show them to daddy on weekends ! !

When you talk about average then it's good you go with mileage bikes only!! Best of Luck!!

              Updates:
CBR is out of the question after a nice test ride on friend's bike with dad .
Good news college timings have changed so now I have to leave earlier which means less traffic and I don't have to ride at or above 80km/h all the way to my destination. So any new options I should look for?
GS150r rode it and bike seems to be good except its pretty heavy compared to other bikes.
Well I have ridden the discover 125 old one not ST, my friend bought it like 1 or 2 months before ST got launched :P vibrations are pretty good in bike and he is not getting average of more than 45kmpl as of yet. New ST version looks good though but not sure about how it will ride.
Lastly dazzler, feels butter smooth ,good power and all. Read reviews about it and people are saying spares are expensive, non availability of spares and all not sure about it but its surely on a little high side on price factor.
Another friend suggested SZ R ,anyone with any useful information about yamaha guys?

This is a wrong info now!!! It use to be earlier not now!! Honda has stabalised alot from past 6-8 months.

Dazzler is anyytime a best option from your lot.
                1. Dual Disc, better control on speed.
                2. Good Handling
                3. Good Power
                4. Average of 45-60kmpl. One of my office elderly gets 60kmpl in his 20km highway ride daily. He is pretty happy with it.

Spares parts or SVC issues are same for all SVCs whether it's a Yamaha or Honda or Hero or Bajaj.

But yes it's costlier then Bajaj or Hero!!

My personal suggestion on any bike for your usage would be Dazzler!!

Yamaha was always a leader in biking technology and reliability!! I am a personal fan of Yamaha.

SVC or parts or cost issues or betterment would be same here too. But Yamaha or Honda products are very excellent in reliability and durability!!!

SZr is a bike which is very affordable in owing i.e it comes in 65-68k OTR isn't it AWESOME!!!

You get a power of 150cc with 50-60kmpl average, My friend gets it from past 1 yr. He is deadly Happy with it's performance!!! It's a good highway and city bike.

But Dazzler is worth 80k+ to own!!! Mono shocks with Dual Disc!!! which makes handling better!! If not to Dazzler for any reason then SZr anytime!!

PS: SZr is not at all for 110+kmph , for that Dazzler!!!!.

For some reasons 40-50% of friends are saying to go for unicorn and not dazzler I don't understand why ! !
Dazzler has dual disks, digital+analog and tubeless n all. Chain will need frequent cleaning and lubing I guess.
Considering the after sales maintenance factor I think Honda won't give any hassles compared to Bajaj and Hero.
But I surely have not seen many Dazzler on road either..
SZr seems so affordable its a tempting deal so seems discover ST and GS150r. Damn I really need to fix my budget to certain amount and stick with it, I feel like I am just surfing on waves.
Ahh Yamaha always will be my first preference thats why R15 was in list earlier :P Whenever Yamaha is in picture I get confused and feel like to go ahead and buy the Yamaha but on the other hand reality is I am not the one paying for bike ! !
I have made up my mind on good average bike so I need to stick with it otherwise I will end up with something else !

SZr is the best bike in 150cc with a price tag of 65k, with awesome riding ability and Yamaha's relationship.

But still when you are going to ride it on highways which like you will ride it over 100kmph some times so Dazzler makes more sense!! Dual Disc is always a + point on any bike!!
You din't see Dazzler more on roads because Dazzler is costlier than unicorn and to cut the market there are many other bikes which comes in 150cc for less cost at least 10k.

Dazzler will serve you the best!!
If not then SZr but not D125ST. INMO D125ST is not for all time highway type bike!! This can be a best commuter!! but not a highway breaker!!

@Sushrut Are you serious? Another guy who is from Pune and rides same route that I do claimed 42 but you claiming 50 ! !
I would really appreciate if you could explain your riding style.
Discover is out ,haven't had a chance to test ride Yamaha SZ.

Yes He is right!! If you ride R15 in 6th gear and within 40-50kmph then you get an average of 48-50kmpl. But I guess rarely anyone rides at that speed !! That too R15!! on highways you will always see R15 overtaking some vehicle or Zooming pass you!! Still i my self woul suggest to stay off from R15!! Go with mileage bike only!! NS200/ZMR is one of the good average bikes!! And my personal suggestion would be Stunner or D125ST

Sushrut rides primarily in the early mornings(dawn) and after dark. 90% on National Highway 3 (I met him yesterday). If your usage pattern matches his pattern, you can expect similar FE.

Hehe Lol I can not/will not ride at 40-50km/hr on highway that too R15 no way,its one of the reasons why my moped gives less mileage.
Karizma won't give 40+ at speeds of around 80 so its out too.
@somen1984 any more specific reason [Maybe that you have faced or facing] why no for R15? I know maintenance will be high. I will be doing around +-1500km every month so every 2 months I will have to change oil anyways.
D125ST won't be stable in the crosswinds on highway and vibrates at higher speeds as well , not sure about ST as I have ridden the old one which my friend bought this year before launch of ST.
so I will again check and test ride dazzler,GS.

I am very happy owner of R15 and i know what it takes to keep R15 with all aspects!! I never expected an average from R15 only performance what matters me alot!! So i am happy with 35-38kmpl too.

See it's not only about engine oil!! it's about total maintenance!! And when R15 runs to it's optimum level then you get an average of 35-38kmpl only!! And I am dead sure no R15 owner rides below 100kmph on highway!!

And one more thing i see you pointing to cross wind and stability again and again!! So if you are so concerned about cross wind and stability then CBR or R15 or ZMR are the only option, but these comes with a price and responsibilities which you know i guess!! Then don't see the mileage/maintenance part at all, just buy it and keeping paying what ever comes in your way!!

Otherwise, get a Dazzler or GS150r or RTR 160 which are more than sufficient with highway rides with good average!!

P.S: cross winds actually matters when you are at 110kmph or above. else the swings are very minor!! I have ridden it with my old Kawasaki Aspire !!! I don't think in India you encounter so bad cross wind that would blow you out of road!!

And when are you planning to buy the bike??
