Best First Bike in 150 cc, Hunk, Dazzler, FZS, Unicorn?

    Pros: great & sporty looks, handling (wide rear tyre), comfort (wide handle bars), gud engine, Yamaha reliability, Best city rider
    Cons: less mileage (Avg: 40 kmpl), comparatively less power

    Anyone can ride FZ easily compared to even 100cc bikes.

    CB-Unicorn
    Pros: Smooth refined engine (benchmark), good mileage, reliability, mass market
    Cons: Non sporty looks, handling

    Dazzler
    Pros: Smooth refined engine (benchmark), good mileage, reliability, rear discs
    Cons: looks not gud (like twister)

    if you are really concerned about mileage then pls go for 100 cc segment.
    One of the reasons behind FZ less mileage is wider rear tyre which compensates for better handling than any other competitors. Unicorn has best engine among the segment but fails in looks & handling.
    So be specific with your requirement and then choose your bike.

    Bottom line: Chose the bike which your heart says. Yu will be satisfied forever irrespective of its spec & performance......

      I have enquired extensively about the new version of Hunk & currently only one dealer in Mumbai seems to have it, that dealer however is charging almost 8000 Rs extra by bringing in unwanted charges which I wont discuss here. I found this quite wrong & have decided to instead wait for a few more days although it seems that now I will miss my Dushehra gift

      Please keep posting more details about the new Hunk.
      You dont have to pay a premium for buying a Hunk, its not a bike that have set the sales chart on fire (I own one and love it).
      Wait for the festival season to end, go get your Hunk!

      And there's nothing more regarding the new Hunk i believe, rather than the good old kick starter is back. Also the braking has improved, the front brake is from Bybre now.

        It seems hard to find a bike that matches all your requirements. Still let me show some light on few questions asked by you. Honda Dazzler seems good for most of your purposes. Good handling, comfortable upright posture, 45 kmpl mileage, digital meter with clock, tubeless tires, rear disk brake, light weight - it provides all. Only lack is kicker option. Cbz is better handler in city traffic, hunk feels heavier. But hunk has slightly better pick up and feel on highways. The two bikes are almost same (14.4 ps/12.8 nm, mileage 38-42 kmpl). If you can take care of your bike, i'll recommend Bajaj pulsar 150. Some of my friends have this bike which are 1-3 years old and those are in good condition as they don't use their bikes roughly. Pulsar provides good pillion comfort, good balance of power and mileage (15.06 ps/12.8 nm, 45 kmpl).
