    You can try APACHE 180 ABS.. but your height might an issue as seating is suitable for short guys. Also, you can check CBR 150R... decent in city but a monster in highway and comfortable also. On road BLR is 1.41(STD). Looks is good and FE is around 40 or more.
    Riding 17.6 horses out of which 5 horses work in the city and other 12+ horses wake up after 6k rpm and run after 8k rpm

      For tall guys, R15 will be better in the upper part of the body and difficult in the lower part of the body.

        Not a fan of the Apache .. And not really impressed by the CBR 150R .. But I really appreciate the opinion.. Will look into the CBR 150R ..

              @others:
              I have a feeling people are going overboard with the whole low end torque for city thing. One only needs so much of torque, practically speaking. There is a reason Royal Enfields with monster torques don't REALLY make a difference in many places (unless you live in a hilly area). I ride a bike with 10.x something torque comfortably in Bangalore, heck I test rode Discover 100 and found it very capable of Bangalore travelling needs and it has a measly 7.85NM of torque. He has learnt riding in a bike with 13.6NM torque. I doubt he'll have issues with Pulsar 200NS that has over 18NM of torque. Same goes for R15. He'll figure out how to keep bike at a particular RPM for max pulling power and this means not using 6th gear inside city much and that's all.

              @Nilhil Noronha:
              You should be comfortable on a Pulsar 200NS which I think is the most VFM option you have. As for servicing it in Bangalore, I guess its better you ask in the ownership thread as to which service center is good. Thing about metro cities is they have mixture of good and crap SVCs and you should ask around to find out which is the best place to get your bike serviced. If you are keen on R15 itself, visit a showroom nearby your college (I presume you can easily visit the showroom near Forum) and take a test ride. Else if you comfortable with Fazer that you learnt riding in, check it out as well in the same visit. Also visit a Hero showroom and test ride the Karizma ZMR and maybe check out a Royal Enfield just to cover all possible grounds. Remember, you should buy what YOU are comfortable with and not what others tell you. So go out there and feel all those bikes. Put the newly earned Driving License to some use. Small variations in power, torque, etc matter little in front of being comfortable on your own bike, knowing it well and your heart telling you to take care of it for several years to come
              Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

                Thank you so much. You actually make a lot of sense .. But I am not really keen on the ZMR and the Enfields (no offense bro ) but as yous say, there is no harm i checking them out.
                I do want to check out the Pulsar 200NS .. It looks like a really good option.. .. Any other bikes to consider?

                  It's more comfortable than R15 any given day, Pillion friendly i.e parents/sisters can board when ever needed, Rather than they Saying"uncomfortable" , "Top Floor", "Lift needed" ....lol

                  Right once a rider knows his bike he can handle any terrain!! But the ease depends type of bike!

                  For city any 150cc is more than enough rather than R15 or CBR or Duke or NS, But your riding style matters a lot. Even Dazzler/Unicorn /GS150r/Impulse would suit you nice for your height!!

                    The R15 costs 1,31,000 and the 200NS costs 1,00,000

                      Dude, if i am not wrong You are having a strong desire for R15. I am 6ft tall even i had the same doubts before going for it I even had CBR250r as a choice with R15 specially for the fact of suiting my height and also the performance. I was very passionate about the R15. So I chose it and I am having fun on it. I dont have any Cramped feeling or any other pains. Just the wrist pain initially but I got used to it after riding it regularly. Every eyes look at you while you are one the road it would make you feel like a celebrity. If you have desires for the R15 you can very well buy it . CBR 150r isnt a bad choice if you are not obsessed with premium feel on switches but its so muscular and good looking too!

                          In my opinion the above sentence does not convey the exact feeling of onlookers. Everybody is curious to look at the new vehicle on the road, whatsoever its Brand may be. In India a bike costing upto 2 lakhs is not a rare site now a days, although a superbike is still a rarity. I have just purchased a new Suzuki GS 150 and everyday I have to answer queries of few co riders on my way to office and back. This should not mean that I should feel like a celebrity.

                          To simplify, I suggest that one should buy the bike after getting a test ride and after thoroughly analysing your basic need. If you want to feel like a celebrity, then you should go for nothing less than a superbike.

                            Yeah you are right basic necessity is the primary aspect. I was just saying that we may get second looks if the bike is similar to a superbike. Sorry if i had chosen the wrong words like celebrity and all just i was trying to explain the impressive looks of the bike.

                              I really don't wanna feel like a celebrity or anything .. but I hate to admit that the R15 is one of the best looking bikes out there in India ... It separates it from the rest of the bikes ..

                                The best method to short list a bike is
                                1. Decide your budget and sort out the bikes in range.
                                2. Check which bike appeals to you lookwise.
                                3. Go for a test ride on the bikes and try to compare the differences.

                                Finally, its you who has to use it and live with it. So your being comfortable to use it is more important than others suggestion.
