I have never heard about any service problem with Yamaha in Pune and service is excellent here in Aurangabad. So ask some Pune guy about Yamaha's service.

For your Height FZ is the perfect match the only problem comes in pillion comfort but dont worry about it. It is not that bad.

Solution
Hey Atul I think you have two good option.First Apache RTR eFi as Good Looks Good Mileage Highest Revver Pillion Is Comfortable I have Ridden With My Bro.
GS150R is a better option two as good pillion comfort nice speedo and 6 speeder.
But sincerely go for Apache RTR eFi you wont regret.

I think Apache can also be good for him ... it has slightly lower saddle height than FZ but I am no sure how much a wider seat will affect to this matter?Originally posted by DriftKingNT View PostApache is a good bike. It is actually better than FZ(my opinion) but I suggested FZ for Atul because FZ is shorter & lighter so atul can handle it with more ease.
Also apache is also a very good bike to control in city traffic and at low speeds.
But still I would suggest FZ16. Take test ride of both and then decide.
FYI: GS150R is heavier, taller and bulkier as compared to these two bikes.

exactly...GSR150 is too big a bike for me considering my daily commuting.
And about RTR: i liked the bike but the only problem is i have to lean a lot to reach handlebar and this will be very difficult for my back in long rides. Hence 99% i am finalizing on FZ.
BTW, can i get the FZ's seat changed to better suite it for pillion and rider comforts? (may be i can think of this as a post-warranty alternative).Ride fast...ride safe

I asked this to 2 dealers here and they denied it straight away.Originally posted by atul_the_rider View Postexactly...GSR150 is too big a bike for me considering my daily commuting.

FZ is a great choice with the fact that it has short height, lower center of mass, broad wheels ... overall most stable bike. Moreover it is not too heavy.

RTR FI vs FZ 16 vs P200 vs Honda Unicorn vs Any HH bike if it can compete
As Atul's query has been resolved. I am changing the topic with appropriate name for my query.
So far, it has been Fz VS Apache for me with 5'6" height and average built. I want combo of power and decent average. Low maintenance is everybody's wish.
Had test ridden RTR Carb and RTR FI. Liked FI.
Prior biking exp.: 100 CC bikes that too 4/5 years back
Was looking for FZ/RTR so far but added other options because:
1) P200 -- feature packed VFM
2) Honda Unicorn -- most refined and AFAIK low maintenance bike
3) Any good HH bike -- but off course lowest maintenance cost.
Also started a new topic with the same query.Last edited by chauhan_saurabh; 12-14-2008, 02:11 AM.
