I guess he meant...buy a RTR and get it mod to Joel...he he. ...another set of investment then...

And if you get your P220 then i don't think you should mod it, stock is good...

Do you have any realtive in your home town ? Then leave your bike for your relative and let them use it, you will feel better someone from your family is using it, instead of having a grudge of selling it at 55k or 60K.

I think this is logical price for 22months old 12k. Becasue as you said any one buying it for 70-75k would take a new on EMI or wait for more 2-3 months and get it new, unless he is dead sure he won't be able to save anymore to buy!!

What i spoke to one RTO official yesterday while returning he said any other state vehicle can be used here for one month with all papers..later we will start fining else register it in this state.

When my friend registered a Raigad RTO car to his name in Mumbai it took 1.5 months to register in 2011 yr.

It's better you sell it off or give it to your close ones!! This is life bro, no worries down the line you will get an option of Duke 390 +cc bikes so P220 is not the last one to enjoy!!

@somen1984..yes the rto can fine if he rides only with the n.o.c,but i already paid the road tax and could use it for "n" number of years.but some people suggest me that re registering a bike again will further depreciate its resale value.I don't know for sure what to do.i could not give my bike to relatives, because i have no other ride as of now..
i could not dream about duke 390 due to financial constraints and various other reasons.

DUDE!! Whether 22 months matter or not is immaterial!! My own bike, a 2009 Pulsar 220(first batch of P220 carb.), received an offer for Rs.60k back in August (just before I left for Leh). It was run 39k km at the time! And I had bought it for just Rs.78k. Now you yourself decide if the offer you got is fair. Its your bike and its your safety. We can only suggest you what to do. You are the one who has to make the decision for your and your family's betterment.

          Best of luck.

Edit: And why do you need an NOC if you have already paid the road tax?

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Never do the mistake of selling your 220. Never. You'll be cursing your new ride whichever it maybe. Because no bike can come close to our 220 in your budget. Its meaningless to sell it.. Instead of spending 80k on a new bike, put your money and strength and do whatever it takes to keep your 220.. cause if you sell, you will not enjoy your new ride, and also no peace of mind..
