Come to think of it - last month, the entire biking community was gaga over Honda's teasers thinking they would launch the CB150. Turned out to be the Trigger. as per me with your budget try the fz.they are very flickable and good grip due to thick profile tyres.pillion comfort is ok as long as you are planning for city commutes which i dont think will extend beyond a couple of hours max.speed is decent for 90's region.but with higher price ns is good option as regard to handling and speed.it comes behind fz as regards to pillion comfort but as you want to commute in city i dont think ns will lag behind in any manner.i personally have taken and ridden on tours so it should be ok.

what i meant was that the rear tyre of fz is wider as that of ns and basically i own a ns and have driven fz a couple of times.i have toured 1000kms on ns in a single day.so no i am not kidding when i say fz is comfortable for a pilion rider as compared to ns!!!!!! well its one opinion thats all there's to it???Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostThick profile tyres. ?????? i will not agree to very narrow but lets say narrower compared to ns towards the rear end.i find it comfortable over ns because its lengthier and a single one as copared to the split seats of ns.so because its a single piece it gives the flexibility of forward rear movement to the pillion unlike the splits.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostBut really fz has a very narrow pillion seat compared to ns.

If you're not going to cross 90kmph then i believe going for 200cc + bikes is quite a waste of money. Go for a 150/180cc bike and Save the extra money to buy proper riding gears instead.
If handling is all you're looking for then look no further than the RTR Series.. they offer performance at an affordable price but they may be a tad uncomfortable for your height as it is a very compact bike. You may find the rear set seating a little too dedicated. But i tell you, no other bike in that category can give you the grin that an RTR would give you. Pure menacing power all through the range with flickability and cornering agility on your demand! But the tyres are hopeless though.

let me explain once and for all whats on my mind.as i clearly mentioned first its my perception and not necessarily you have to agree to it.second when you said very narrow do you have actual dimensions or it was just visualisation and since i replied to that now you came up saying that fz is inclined and that ns has sub division.as the guy was interested in city commuting more do you realise how difficult it is for average heighted guys and for ladies to get on/off the steed.for city rides practicality and comfort goes a long way and if one is so particular about the seat then it takes hardly a few bucks at the local seat fabricators to get it to ones liking.and in the whole process one gets to spend less going for fz over ns.thats all there is to it.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostThat rear seat is higher raised.....the pillion step seat on ns has better comfort levels because although it is raised higher it has extra division foam so that the pillion wont move forward.
