I wont suggest fz at all.
Many my friends have fz/fazer almost all suffer from mileage problems.Mileage is way too low for the kind of power it produce.
Far better options are 200 ns,p220,or for fuel efficiency cb trigger.

True... Its not a practical bike. What u will do if 150cc bike produce only 35 kmpl in current situation with 14bhp only. Its better go for another product. I dont mind in giving try to p180 (at least u can get 40kmpl) with decent power or 220 / 200ns is next option or cbz / hunk is also good.

Honda Trigger - The Unicorn engine even if you say has no changes is a time tested and a very adaptive engine. A lot of people enjoy its comfort and its decent engine to even travel long... sometimes very long. Good for comfort, engine, service consistency and fuel efficiency.

Yamaha Fz - Classic Yamaha, quick light engine, very zippy, looks and riding fun. Again a good choice.

If you're a style oriented person go for Fz, if you're a person who's more practicality oriented, go for the Trigger or any of the unicorn engine series. If you're young and carry a girlfriend along then maybe the FZ, if you're married and need more plushness and comfort go for the Trigger.

          My bit of 2 cents...

          Cheers n let us know.

The owner of this thread has neither returned nor updated the thread for about 2 months now. Very sad to see members abandoning threads .
Of course there are no obligations. Maybe he is held up with too much test drives I guess.

I have a problem as well guys

              I am getting only 26KMPL.

One service is done, still i am getting same milage.

Can you plase suggest me what might be the reason for this kind of milage

I think its normal for new bike
                Check it after 1st servicing
& you can expect 35+ kmpl afterwards

Re: suugest a good bike for my requirements

                  Thanks for reply Mr.VVK,

My bike first service is done. Evn after that i got same thing.

So i went to service centre and they detuned the bike for worst pickup. Then i am getting around 35.

But due to weak pickup i didn't feel like i am driving a 150cc bike.

i would like to know usually what are things will affect the milage. So that i can ask the sevice centre guy more precisely.
(And i never crossed 50kmph before first service)

That's possible since they tuned it for mileage i.e. more air with less fuel
How much is the odometer reading now? ?

Now the odometer is around 1400KM.
Still same. I am thinking to ask the service centre guy to restore the carb to factory setting and check for any issues.

Instead of riding within 50 kmph ride upto 4k rpm in each gear & see how it behaves FE may improve

Well we can say fz has low mileage.. But not this low.. Even my hard riding returns close to 35km/L..
he might have really screwed the bike during run-in.. Or the service guys..

                            Ride safe and have fun.

U might be referring to pre 2012 model

My fzs 8k km old 2012 model returns 43-48kmpl... As per the feedback of most owners mileage of 2012 model (with two wires in throttle side) returns 45 to 48...even more than 50 if ridden like splendor :sly: (though it doesn't do justice to fz)

                                @TS
If ur bike returns very less mileage either run in is not done properly or its a lemon..I'm sorry to say that... but u got to live with tat...
