Re: A motorcycle for 2L.

TBTS-350: Relax, I only wrote my post as you mentioned about "more power" and "more torque" for TB500 which is true on paper, but on the road it doesn't help much against a CBR250 (though on its own it does a pretty good job). Even I know the intent of both motorcycles

And by "goes better" I mean that CBR250 performs better than TB500 in every way, which means - in city, on highways, with luggage and with a pillion. This is my experience, yours can be different. Again, I know how both motorcycles are different. This is clear even in my earlier post.
The thread starter: Better decision! Congratulations

Shiv_beam, I think you've made the right choice. You can't go wrong with a Honda. The TBTS500 is very good RE model and is a highway cruiser but I'm afraid its not a classic thumper anymore and it will still not be as hassle free as the 250R in the end. But do take a test ride once to check if you can fall in love with it, else you have your choice.

Guys planning on getting the bike from chennai as it is readily available only there.
But I don't have any id proof in chennai.
Also I need to apply for a loan. Can someone help me on the procedure?

In a dilemma whether to wait for 300r if it is released in India or go for 250r now 😐

Hi, you may have better luck asking in the CBR250R ownership thread, there would be guys from Chennai who have personal experience with dealers. BTW will you sell your Discover 135 after buying the CBR?
I am back!

Re: A motorcycle for 2L.

I've booked a CBR250R with ABS at Maanasarover honda and probably will receive them by the first week of December. On getting delivery of my Ceeber i'm planning on taking it straight to the tyre dealer and replace the stock contigo to michelin pilot street radials(both front and back) readily available at chennai.

Any suggestions?

Check for MRF availability with the dealer. Reviews are on the positive side compared to ContiGo.

Fellow member from Chennai reported that CBR 250R started coming with MRF, I am not able to find the particular post. Sorry! Though, I guess ContiGos are still dominant.
