How sure are we about the launch of P375 in diwali??
Besides.. what is the budget of the thread starter?? 200ns is a good option but to me the bike looks small. Did you have a thought about duke 200??

Re: Pulsar 220 or 200NS? Urgent
Hi fellow riders. Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the late update. Now I am already a happy owner of p200ns.
As there was no news (read confirmation) of p375 coming soon, I decided to buy 200ns. I really liked duke 200 alot but i needed a seat which can carry a pillion, also I found it a bit expensive. Its first pulsar in my entire family. I hope it will not let me down.

Re: Pulsar 220 or 200NS? Urgent
6 months back, I had the same question in mind.. P200NS or P220.. but at that time P200NS was quite new in the market. Read reviews somewhere that some bikes were facing issues that even Bajaj wasn't able to fix. So, I went for a P220. But now, P200NS is getting better and better.. Congrats on your buy!

Re: Pulsar 220 or 200NS? Urgent
Guys, Am planning to buy a bike and I would keep it for the next 6-7yrs.I had shortlisted Karizma R & Pulsar 220.
But now the concern is that Karizma R has been given facelift & new bike dosent look good and they are going to stop production of old Karizma R.
Moving to P220,I like its shape even though its not as advanced as P200Ns.But roumers are spread in market that Bajaj will soon stop production of P220 as its old...Is that true.??
Since am planning to keep my bike for next 6-7yrs it will be a problem.

P220 production will stop only if there's a P200SS (faired). if that's the case you are better off getting the SS any way.Originally posted by Pulse_Beat View PostGuys, Am planning to buy a bike and I would keep it for the next 6-7yrs.I had shortlisted Karizma R & Pulsar 220.

if not, you can stick to P220 without fear.

Pulsar 200NS vs 220F
Hey guys,
I am looking to get my first ever bike and I am stuck between these two models. Unable to find which one suits me better.
My preferences : better handling, mileage, life and servicing.
I would like any bike to be able to lean and yet stable. I dont usually go beyond 60-80kmph.
Mileage, yeah I know both doesnt offer more than 30-35kmpl. But which one usually offers more? AFAIK 220F gives more.
Everyone I ask, says Bajaj bikes life is less. Can anyone shed some light on that?
I dont need great pickup, 0-60kmph time e.t.c.,
I liked 220F style compraed to the naked beast and price is a lil 5k less than 200NS.
I am looking for yall opinions. Please do mention which one do you own.
EDIT : I dont tour much, usually prefer trains. But I may take the bull for a ride whenever I need to visit my home town 600kms up and down once in a 6months. Other than that, I may not tour at all.
The only reason I am preferring 220F is the styling.Last edited by Jaya Sankar Yakkala; 07-31-2014, 03:22 AM.

The 200NS would be a better buy from the requirements you have mentioned.
Though personally i would go for the 220 again, but that is from a touring point of view.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: Pulsar 200NS vs 220F
All your requirements point to NS, but P220 is good tourer, if its only city and normal highway riding then go for NS and if you do more of touring then go for P220,Originally posted by Jaya Sankar Yakkala View PostHey guys,

Every company make their product perfect, the only concern I see in Bajaj is it requires proper and timely servicing & maintenance other wise it will give you tough time...
