  • Sporty looking lightweight bike with good performance

    Hi all,

I'm planning to buy a bike for commuting purpose and taking it to college. Will go on long rides on weekends too or whenever I feel like, (I go on a 100 Km ride often in bicycle so guess what I'd do on a bike) I want something lightweight and flickable in traffic. Must look sporty as I will be taking it to college, pillion comfort should be okay but not much importance in it as on long rides I'll be riding solo. Suspension can be hard as I'm used to riding without any suspension on my bicycle. I'm planning to mod the headlight to 55watt too, so take that into account. I was looking at Pulsar 135LS but the old flame red color is not available and the bike is not affordable for me. My budget is 50,000 rupees(fixed). I gotta be quick as if the money sits around, it'll be spent on other things, I don't know about others but in our family, a big amount of money vanishes slowly without being spent on anything that can be shown off or have a value.
    I am back!

Look at the Discover 100T. Or maybe a scooter if you are ok with it. BTW, how are you?

Ok, 50,000/- why not try the Centuro from Mahindra?? its got all the features that no other Indian bike comes with.. and it will be in your budget.. + it is a 110cc with good power along with good looks and sporty speedo console.

            Cheers,

Re: Sporty looking lightweight bike with good performance

Discover 100T looks nice but not sporty looking, I'm afraid they will discontinue the bike in near future. Scooter is direct no no as if I get it my sister would want to ride it too. I'm okay I guess, the knees are healing fast, hands are okay but I developed this weird way of walking. This will stay with me forever they say, also a bad thing happened few days ago, I know you guys won't believe, you can watch the channel named NEWS LIVE, the case was being broadcasted there few hours earlier. My father's brother's son was coming from army to home after years with 2 lakh rupees via train for his sister's marriage and he is missing since then. Police has recovered a dead body and called them to identify it, they are going there as of now, and soon we would know the result.

That translates to that. I gotta be real quick or this money we have will be gone too. Any bike under 50,000 rupees?

With that money you could easily get a low run P135 which is still under warranty.

Lets keep it out of the thread Rakesh! What we believe in has nothing to do with his what bike query. I said I hope his uncle is fine. That is irrespective of the fact that he's saying the truth or not and let us respect his relatives for that.

You have the right to believe whatever you want but that's the truth.
Anyway, back on topic, what would be the good price for a used P135 with 30K kms on the odo? Looks like it suffered some rough use. 2012 model, bought around August 2012.
