So, best is that go for a good decent bike with good performance and be happy with that, as said above if you can find a used Duke 200, just see the condition, papers, etc., and go for it, it should be a good buy for you or else if you can wait, wait for the 200ss or if you want 375 and also if you have plans to sell of the 220 as well (just my opinion) then sell it and get the 375, you'll get something better than what you are having. . .

Cheers!!!
Well, that describes me.
For the past few days I'm literally haunted by bikes, can't even sleep. I had enough of this feeling.

Sorry everyone especially my heart who recommended me to wait for more powerful bike from BAL, But I Can't wait any longer, decided to go for 200ns on this Monday itself
Hope it turns out to be a good purchase

Will go for fully faired ones(which is my dream) on early 2015

Later you can also join naked wolves p200 ns group on Facebook and groups on xbhp too and be a part of it and have fun riding.
I have got all this out of my ns... now do you?

Just to be a part of the some group on FB doesn't mean the person should get a P200NS.. please speak about reality.. going by your suggestion, the Tata nano should have a better pick up than any Indian bike..

coming back to the topic..

bro.. wait for 2014.. sell of your Xtreme and save that money for a couple of more months.. you won't regret.. many people do regret for not waiting and getting the NS when the SS is about to come..

enjoy your P220 til then

Control your hunger being on diet just for another 2 months and you won't regret it..

Come on mann, NS cruising over 140kph LoL, get your speedo checked. . . 40 odd mileage, not all are getting it, some are getting as low as 30-35. . . Pick up comes from cc ??? from when did that start to happen. . ? Bhp takes you to top speeds. . ? Again How. . ? Seriously take a break, just chill. . . You are saying just like Hero said, 223cc of raw power . . . Use some basic knowledge. . .

1. 40 kpl depends on his riding style, he can get more with better riding. . .
2. Pulsar 200ns top speed indicated as 136kph by Bajaj, may be you might get more or so, cos it's a carb and tuning in carb can give a little boost in power and also increase top end. . .
3. Pick up comes from torque and not cc. . .
4. Bhp doesn't take you to top speed, it's the bike's design, the gear ratios, your body posture, road, wind, etc.,
5. That's the only point I agree with you about pillion comfort. . .
6. What's the use of joining some group in facebook or Xbhp if you don't ride with them. . ?
7. Seriously? the auto expo is nearing, kindly keep your NS there to showcase to all about your NS's capabilities. . .

PS: No trolling just correcting, also I guess you must be a part of Bangalore Naked Wolves. . ?

Cheers!!!
Wow that was great fun wasn't it... You guys laughed a lot. BUT
You were laughing at nothing but your own ignorance. What @Indrathirth said about 'cc' and HP is actually true but he couldn't explain it properly. He probably got that info from someone or from the internet. I strongly condemn the way in which that fellow xbhpian was treated by some members. Two whole pages were used for making fun of him. His statements about fb and groups were ridiculous but I question the way in which the whole situation was handled.

'Pickup' is the colloquial term people use to mention torque. And remember the famous saying "displacement matters"? A bigger engine basically produces more low end torque. And that bottom end torque is what people generally mean when they say 'engine pickup'. The best way to increase an engine's torque is by increasing its displacement. Do I need to talk about the relation between the two anymore?

And about horsepower. Though it's wrong to talk about torque and hp as two entirely different terms, it can be safely said that torque is what gives you acceleration and horsepower is what gives you top speed. The engine reaches its top speed not close its peak torque rpm but close to its peak power(hp) rpm.

Guys, no. of posts has nothing to do with the level of expertise. Come down to earth and stop fighting with people unnecessarily.

@OP
Glad to hear that you made a decision amidst all the chaos. Good luck!

Thanks Raging Bulls for bringing my confidence back to be in xbhp.
The only reason for me to mention groups was that is what I had experienced and I have mentioned. But all fell apart, maybe I dint put it in right words. The new guy had asked will he regret buying p200ns and I gave my opinion. Again after all this I was dragged for telling I achieved top speed of 146. I told what was shown on speedometer and ppl laughed saying I was boasting. I have stopped posting opinions since then. Why simply...

People would have stopped mocking if you had accepted the facts related to Speedo error. Instead you ask how can a 1L bike have such problems? Bro, every measuring instrument in this world has errors. Few may be minimal but still, the error is there. And your 1L bike's speedo is nothing less than other instruments with great errors. If 5-7kmph errors are there, that Speedo is not doing its job and the error is pretty large.
The reason you were mocked at in the first place was cause of this particular ignorance. Though they explained the problem to you in pretty nice words, your reaction was not called for. There are things you do not know and there are things which even I don't. Accepting that fact matters a lot.
Cheers!!

There are more than just CC when it comes to acceleration and top speed.. I know you that well.. since you have more knowledge.. besides.. I didn't laugh at that kid nor teased him.. he took it personally and used unnecessary words... and no where we laughed at him top speed.. he never understood the basic concept of speedo error instead he claimed how can a bike that costs 1L go bad in flash?? thats what I was more curious.. besides.. he took it as mocking when I never intended to..
