Seriously man, you guys are quite different from the rest of the lot! Topic goes haywire within seconds. Am sure many like me would be enjoying the comments! Lol!! Bikers aren't machines rite?? Hehe

TS- test-ride every bike in your mind and then decide. When it comes to zmr or fazer, the fairing may seem bulky but after few days you'll love that feeling!
Rtr with abs is also good specially for the safety it offers.

Bro.. don't under estimate a Honda Engine.. they are the best.. the ones on Karizma are a proof of something that cannot be destructed.. it can have upto 21 horses.. it was detuned for India.. as for the Unicorn.. the engine is rev free.. no matter how hard you rev it.. the bike feels smooth throughout.. and the engine produces the least horses in the 150cc segment.. but that bike can make Pulsar 150 & RTR160 eat dust.. Xtreme and Hunk has the better tuned engine of the Unicorn and it can be taken to any high RPM for as long as you want.. the engine will remain calm through out..

Re: Suggest some bikes

Dude please dont take it personally what i learned from my 10 years of riding experiences with different bikes i really dont think that a unicorn can beat an apache in drag,,,RTR has the best power to weight ratio in class with shortest gear ratio,,its distinctly a race breed along with r15. A race of unicorn with CBZ or pulsar150 is admissble but in no way a stock unicorn can beat an apache or r15. In 0-60 format RTR can kill karizma and all pulsars except the new NS,and moreover its also about the rider skills along with the bike.
Happy riding

Re: Suggest some bikes

If i plan to go for Karizma ZMR then is it advisable to buy the old one or wait for the new one to be released. I am asking this only because the old one costs around 1.15 lakhs on road. What will be the cost of the new one. I don't know whether I will be able to afford it if it costs more than 1.20 lakhs. So please advice me.

If budget is your constraint then I don't think waiting for the new one is worth it. As per me, buying a newly released bike is risky as there might be minor glitches in them which the company may resolve later. The major difference between the two are the bhp bump and looks. I would suggest you to go for the current zmr keeping in mind your budget and buy riding gears with the remaining cash.

My advise will be to go for looks ,if you love fairing buy karizma New one not old
If you're into naked styling buy ns and now shut the topic

i think you should wait and get the updated model cheak the video out the bike looks good i don't think there will be a price hike i the bike because its just a updated model of old karizma so i think it should launch at same price tag there can be a difference of 5-7k

Re: Suggest some bikes

I read somewhere that half faired zma will cost around 90 k and full faired R 1.10 lacs, according to Delhi showroom price ,so in Delhi zma will be on road around 98-1lac and zmr around 1.19-1.22 ,btw whoever is the designer, should be given a blow to the head.
And prices will be up due to inflation, mehangai daayanw

Can you check up with the dealers if the old ones will be sold along side the new ones?? I personally feel the new ones will lack the long life factor that the present ZMRs have.. but i would give it a thought as the power has increased and the looks are subjective and hero bikes usually get a hang on to you after seeing them in flesh..

Again.. if you are ready to wait.. then give a thought about the P200SS as well..

Re: Suggest some bikes

@Thread Starter : Amidst all this, if I can pour my views too.
I ride RTR180 and being 5.9'' and muscular build, it actually looks small to me.
Fazer/Unicorn- Why opt for 150cc when you can get bigger bikes, no offense to owners, both the bikes are wonderful.
200NS : Test ride it, you would love the bike, but do check about the height as per your comfort.
ZMA/ZMR : Old models still available in showrooms, you might go and have a look. These are the best bet when it comes to highway riding. I would say stay away from first lot of new models, as you dont want to be the "guinea pig" for the company's first batch of experiment. Adding to that , first lot of production tends to have slight niggles, so why take risk.

Yup that's sure's true. . . Ok as back to the topic, Anuj_Gupta say that Unicorn, CBZ, Fazer, etc., ain't so good for highways as they can't constantly keep up 100 or 100+ kph, that is acceptable and not saying it as a powered yo bike, which is like discriminating the bike. . . I own a Unicorn and I know it's potential, no doubt it's far better when it comes to reliability compared to your pulsars, mine's seven years old and 50k+ on the odo and still feels like a new bike. . . But when it comes to power and other stuffs, your NS has an upper hand here. . . RTR180 is a racing machine which means it's born to ride hard , keep the rev in the higher rpms and the bike won't feel stressed off, same is the case with 200NS. . . For a city and as I said for his height, RTR180 seems a good option, but at the end of the day, it's the TS's choice to test ride 'em all and get which ever he likes. . .
abhi7013 double  mate but another one's missing with us . . .

PS: Errrr just drop it. . .

It's no way helping the thread starter
You own a bike TALK about your experience with it.
If you want to compare two machines there are much better words to use.
This is not Whatsapp but a public forum so PLEASE use decent language and do not refer to a perso as "are you high?"
Hope you get the POINT
