Please explain your requirements too. Overall, from the 3, ns would be the better choice. Or you can wait for the "new" zma which has a bit more punch and other goodies. Although its not so easy on the eye.

Since you are asking about the vibrations on RTR let me tell you bro it is just because of its power to weight ratio. Since apache has a carb weight of 136kgs it vibrates a little at 4-5 rpm or at 45-55 kmph but once you pass it doesnt vibrates at all the raw power and quick throttle response will blow your mind
Newer apaches have less vibrations than thr older ones and comes with a refined engine too,although the looks of newer is not tht good like the olders. Just go for it dude you wont regret it at all and if you are lukng for more power go for NS not so sure about its spare parts price.

Ok I am wondering what exactly are that great technologies coming from Ktm to ns! Entirely different chassis and suspension, entirely different fueling and ignition. Common are these, bottom of the engine and some alloy parts then cooling system may be. Just saying that main stuff is still outsidee!

Maintenance: bajaj parts are usually very cheap.( And always available unlike hero).


Vibrations of rtr :
I don't think it's due to power to wait ratio! Then some other bikes May be like desel power generators in terms of vibrations. It's due to its slightly rough motor and inherent limitations if frame.
Inspire Of that vibration rtr 180 is a great bike.

Hey there!

The Good things You are hearing about RTR because it is a good City ride Bike, gives fast pick up(once it was considered fastest in pick up), handling is good. The negative things because of its vibrations and it is not a long ride Bike, although the vibrations do minimize after 6000rpm. The Bike needs to be just properly maintained like any other Bike, and it would serve properly.

About the NS, it is definitely a good Bike. It has good power, looks good and has new technologies. Can't talk much about it as I haven't used the Bike many times. But do get this into consideration, it is pretty big Bike dimensions wise. So My opinion would be that go for it only if You are of at least 5.11,6 high. It is good for Highway experience, and minimal city riding.

Karizma R is a good Bike too. It gives proper power and riding comfort since it has minimal vibrations at all stages. It is definitely good for riding in City and long rides due to its cc.
And this is just My view and no offences meant, but I fell Karizma R to be a lacking Bike as it has 220cc and just 17Bhp.


If You are going for RTR and since Your budget is one lakh, I would say go for abs version and the older model. There is no significant change in the old and New model of RTR other than cosmetics.

I think you should wait for Jan and then make Decision since upgraded and more powerful Karizma R is just around the corner.....
in between apache & P200ns ,NS wins with full marks...

All three are flagship models of their companies
If you are a tourer go for karizma it has
great rider comfort and just slides into corners
If you are a city rider go for apache
NS is also a good option for touring
Except the suspension
It has good top end pik up for overtaking on highways
Decide your self

Apache has short gearing which makes it tiresome to ride at high speeds for a long time.Aggressive seating not designed for comfort.Also vibrations and hard suspension if you ride on bad roads a lot,then something else like 200 NS will work.But does not mean that people are not touring on RTR.Ride the bike and see if you like it.

I own apache and was also confused like you. Same points came to my mind. Above all I always wanted to purchase Apache and bought one. Today I dont regret that decision. I have really enjoyed my ride with Apache.
Reg vibrations I dont feel much vibrations after 50-55 km/hr.
Karizma is also a great bike for touring. If you are fine with mileage you can go for it.
above all I would say every bike has pros and cons. If you want to buy apache buy it, dont think too much.

As someone air earlier in this forum buy the bike with biggest power so you don't look back ,ns is top notch bike what bajaj offers till date(And 3-5 months more ) ,it's parts are very cheap ,avliable,etc etc
My suggestion is buy that bike which has lowest presence on road( I brought ns)

What I meant to say was people don't tend to prefer RTR for long rides. Rest assured, I ride for a hundred km four times a month at least without any problems and by maintaing an average of 100. You do feel a bit uncomfortable at beginning, but later You get used to it. So if Your distance falls nearly same and don't mind the speed, I would say go for RTR, but if You tend to do high speeds and more km's, I would say go for any of the other two as they are more suited.

It has an awesome low end torque and so you'll feel it very relaxed which is a needed quality for any bike which is used for long rides. If you feel the tech is old then you have the zmr. If you feel the new ones are not good-looking then i'd suggest you to wait for their release and check them out in flesh. Meanwhile you can TD the bikes which you have in mind. Reason am bent towards karizma is cause of the nature of the engine, riding posture and the i-GRS shocks(ZMR).= which make it comfortable for long rides.
Coming to apache, the pillion comfort is not upto the mark when compared to the other two bikes you mentioned.
And the NS is good too with all the latest tech as you said borrowed from KTM. But i guess you'd bee a victim to wind blasts coming head-on as there's no visor. Over-all that's a good vfm bike too. TD all and decide.
