5 yrs ?? Are you sure ?? In next few months/Years you will see RC 390,Pulsar 375, Honda CBR 300/ 600, etc will you still consider this decision as right of buying Hyosung 250r ??

I don't understand why a person wants to spend close to Rs 2.6 - 3L and get an oil cooled 250cc bike with 5 gears, single cylinder, less SVC etc ??

When you can get a Ninja for few more Ks, along with this you get :
    1. Better resale
    2. Better SVC around country
    3. Peace of mind
    4. Extra Power
    5. Reliabilty

I won't say Kawasaki has good SVC no. arounds but it is more than Hyosung in the country.

You should think 1000 times before buy a Hyosung 250cc.

People are buying Honda CBR 250r just because of :
    1. Price
    2. 250 power
    3. affordable spare parts.
    4. Good No. of SVC around country.

If you still want to hear what your ear want to hear then go ahead and buy Hyosung.

There are two type of blind:
    1. Who is really blind.
    2. Who purposely don't open their eyes.

But later you have to think on the pros or cons.

People brought Hyosung GT 250r just because that time Ninja was costly and din't had any other option apart from Honda/Ninja and Hyosung.
Now you will get good options ahead in few months ...years..P375/RC390/CBR 300/Ninja 300 etc.. So. it won't be your same state of mind ahead.

      Re: Selectting a 250cc

^^^^Dude, I don't think there is anything wrong in using a bike for 5 yrs. I bought my pulsar 150 in 2005. I am still using it and will continue to use it. I have waited for more than yeat. And if yout suggestong me to wait another year, I am not going to use that. The question which I asked was simple, whether the gt250r can be used upto 5 yrs or not. I know which bikes are going to be released next year. Ktm, which makes awsome bikes, does not suit me. I don't loke its character (no offense). I dont want to go with the pulsars. Ninja is too damn expensive. That leaves me with cbr and 250. Now I have to choose between these two . Now I know that you know hell lot of stuff about bikes, more than me for sure. So I just wanted to know the opinions about you people thats it.

Somen, GT250R is NOT a single cylinder bike. Rest, I've put my points already.
Vyshakh bro, if you love the GTR, please buy it. Its better to get something you like and then spend efforts in maintaining the same, rather than buy something your heart doesn't want and then regret later.

            Re: Selectting a 250cc

No point re-iterating what I already said. If the GTR pulls at your heart go for it! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Most people here have just read all the reviews about how Hyosung is this and Hyosung is that and how the GT250R is a posers bike. Any bike can be a posers bike! A Ninja ridden by someone who barely rides it but parades it down every lane of the city is also a posers bike! The only reason you call the GTR a posers bike is book it isn't as fast as the Ninja? Or doesn't handle as good? Or because when you ride it, it makes you feel good, makes you feel like people are watching, so I'm a poser!?!?!! LOL! Half of the people here act like kids. Just because the GTR can turn more heads than a Ninja doesn't make it a posers bike hehe. Sure some people buy a bike for that, but not all people.

As long as your planning to ride long and ride hard, don't worry about what people say. The fact that you have already kept a bike for 5 years and planning to keep another one for 5 more shows that you are the type of person who simply enjoys what he has. So get what you really want bro! And the rest will figure itself out!

Correct it's two cylinder.... And it's better to buy one's heart accept.

Actually it's a clear choice for any one!! If you like something than no point asking anything. Go with heart.

It would be really great if you keep ur bike for 5 yrs or more...
