Hi guys, I'm back with a query. I'd asked it a few months back, the question on which bike I should buy. What I didn't have back then was the required budget, and most importantly closure. That's why I couldn't decide.
Now, I still don't have a huge budget, but yes, I have gotten over it, and am ready for it finally. And it's going to be Pulsar 220 this time.
Now the dilemma is, from where should I buy it? considering the fact I only have around 70k to spend. (OTR price- Rs 95,000)
That leaves me 2 options
a)Finance option- I'd have to get a loan for around 30k, and I might end up paying around 5-10k extra, depending on the interest rate, time period etc.
b)Second hand bike- Now I live in Delhi, so there's this huge market for second hand bikes in Karol Bagh. I went there last weekend, and I got a quote for July'2013 make Pulsar 220(condition looks good) for 71k.
And yes,if the situation gets dire, there's a slightly rare possibility of a 3rd option that I'll have to go for a lower model, say P150,180 , either original or second hand.(last resort though)
The thing I would like you to share, comment ,advice is how risky/reliable is it to buy a second hand bike from such a place. Because if it turns out good, I end up saving 20-25k on a 'not-so-old-with-few-scratches' bike, which I would have had to buy it NEW for more than it's OTR price(because of financing).
Another thing, and it's pretty important is how is the paper work done? I dont mind paying a few extra rs for the paperwork, because I really dont want any trouble with it. Now I believe that a regular second hand bike seller in Karol Bagh won't scam me with the paperwork, because his showroom is always going to be there..hence, there's no running

I would love to hear from you guys as soon as possible, and I want to thank you in advance too... I so want to hop on a bike and keep riding for miles...its been months!!
