Yes this may be the fact. People still think that Refresh is Fi dozens of those have asked me whether i have the Fi.Originally posted by chicane1879 View Post^^Are you talking about the Fi or Refresh coz the RTR-Fi's ex-showroom price in itself is 65k,nation-wide!!Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

I am an FI owner (for 1700 km now) and have been very happy with the bike's performance. It hardly takes any effort to reach 100. Average is decent (50-60 depending on your average rpm levels). The best part about the bike is its handling. Amazing control, stability at high speeds. I easily beat all 2 wheelers except R-15 without much effort.
To answer your queries -
I have heard that there is a very good TVS showroom in Vasai. I purchased mine from Belapur for 73K. There is one in Thane too (Ashwini Motors). FZ vs FI there will be a difference of atmost 2-3K, depending on the state in which you buy it. In Mumbai cost can vary significantly depending on the RTO you purchase it from.
I have got my bike serviced from Thane once and I feel that service is not a problem with TVS if you are in a major city like Mumbai.
I would strongly recommend going for the FI.
I had a similar dilemma sometime back. Do check this thread

Hi snehil,
I was thinking about the fz even after i booked my fi. But once i switched on the bike after delivery, the sound will blow you out. Its one of the best parts of the bike.
As per power, we held a drag for a km.. one r15, my fi and one fz16. The fz was lost
(behind :P) and r15 was just some 4-5 kms fast.
Get the tyres changed to MRF (Zapper Q/Y) or IRC (some expert can shed some light)
As far as service goes, here in south TVS is one of the best service centers. No other company match up to them, and am not intending that tvs aervice is perfect.
I get a mileage of 45+ no matter what kind of riding. I take it 100+ everyday twice :P.. its varying between 45-48
The engine vibrations are a character of the bike.. doesnt make you take your hand off the throttle.. the feedback is amazing...
but the build quality cannot be compared with that of a yamaha, having said that the fi is not bad at all.
and dont forget the rear seat :|
its worth it even you end up paying 1-2k rs more.. (otherwise also its worth it :P) .. i personally feel fz is overpriced by 5k for the kind of features it has.
if you are willing to wait more.. there is a 180cc version of the apache coming..
hope this helps.. all the bestLets put a smile on your face
