Re: Urgent Remedy needed for my confused Mind - Which 600+ cc to go for ???

Let me be blatant. You will get bored of the twin in no time. Rather go for the TNT600.

Although you say your usage would be limited to city, I really doubt you wouldn't take to riding long for fun, especially with these glorious machines.

If budget is becoming a constraint, go for a D390 and take a jump later. Remember you are walking into bigger risks when you are getting those 200kg machines without ABS. Or wait out till the TNT600 comes with the ABS, probably by the end of the year. These are not run of the mill machines and one adjusts their lifestyles to realize their dream.

Make sure you don't chew the pie you don't crave for. Wait for the pie a bit longer if necessary. You don't want to get stuck with a bitter one that doesn't generate the grin a few months into the ownership.

True mate...The vehicle which I drove was one of friends, who doesnt maintain his steed ..you know how..I came to conclusion a bit too soon. But I will be taking the TD again through the showroom this week and decide if it is going to the 600i or ER-6n.

I still would love to own the Zed. But heart says go for I-4, Since I am not going to upgrade anything more for a long long time...And I dont want to regret later for making this decision. June 18 is my cut-off date to book it. I will have to decide by then. Whether it is Z800, 600I or ER-6N.

I have another question for you my friend. What tyres does the 600i comes with . Is it Sports Daemon or Diablo Rosso?? And what fuel do you use. Unleaded or anything else.

Tyres are Pirelli angel, rear is 180/55 R17 and front is 120/70
Recommend fuel is 97 octane, but it's not available easily here so I fill with shell normal fuel

Well said, But yes, TNT600i is looking more deasible. I will have to check on the A.S.S alone. Make my points very very clearly to the person whom I will be dealing with during sales. I had to wait 2 years to get an approval buddy for them to nod their head...so jumping to D390 and making another switch over is literally impossible.

So, I would rather go for TNT600i and get used to its driving. Having driven a CL500 which weighs about 20kgs lesser, I guess handling shouldnt be off much concerns, Its the power that I am worried about. I need to control my wrist

TheArcher84 Congratulations. Super choice I am sure you will enjoy the ride for a long time to come. Getting positive responses from 600-i owners after first service. Hopefully this is sustained in the long run.

Yes Buddy...I will TD the bike this weekend and make sure of it. Since I am not going to make changes for a long time, hoping to get it right to feed my enthusiasm till then.

Woha!! Had missed the thread all these days. Wish your dream machine come true ASAP.

Not talking anything technically but just two cents from me. We people can't change bikes often, it's kinda once in life time. So go with your heart even if it's a little delayed or bit expensive. If you don't have the connect with the bike you will start regretting your decision very soon.

When I started looking, Triple was very practical choice considering initial 91 octane fuel, service intervals, ergonomics, light weight etc. Even though initial cost was high service cost could negate it on long term compared to z800. But my heart never wanted a Triple. No offense, it was my personal liking.

Yeah dude...Thats why I have left out ER-6n. I will be taking TD on 600i this week and confirm once and for all...My only concern is driveability in city traffic. If I can manage that, then Benelli it is. I always wanted an Inline-4. Will never regret my decision.

My wife has already started to envy my like/love for the bike. She has been cursing it since then.

BTW just one thing to add on top of what Sourjya has written. Turning radius of Z8 is huge so cutting through traffic is not very easy if you have the habit of cutting between vehicles. But that's not deal breaker , just a bit of patience [emoji14]
