    1. Fazer or Gixxer SF or Unicorn 160 -I opt for gixxer sf
    2. Above 3
    3. No problem , since they have mono-shock
    4. No doubt on that with these 3
    5. I am not 100% sure on the pillion comfort of Gixxer SF. but Unicorn is definity a commuter bike and has ample padding to keep you happy and has good pillion comfort too.
    6. Not sure on touring with Unicorn, but SF is a good tourer. One question, How much distance do you plan to cover in a day with thse machines, some of them can ride for 2-3 hours non-stop, some becomes stressed when driving continuosly at 80kmph - Whenever i get chance to tour , it should be useful for me to drive and tour esp full faired bikes having aerodynamic screen.
    7. 2 has tubeless(Not sure about Unicorn) - it should have tubeless tyres for proper grip on roads
    8. Brand covered.

It has not yet thrown open to markets.... I am waiting for the reviews... Most probably R15s is meant for racing as it is track oriented bike like KTM RC200 which is not for a commuter use.

KTM riders arent all insane either . The Gixxer SF is built to be a good tourer, but trust me, you'd feel much more comfortable on a higher displacement vehicle, if you're touring two on. Less stress on the engine = Longevity. And you can cruise at higher speeds thereby covering more distance with the same time. I would ask you to keep an open mind and not diss off bikes based on brand reputation and TD all these bikes before dropping the hammer.

Can we all get on the topic rather than OT.

TS: please test ride the motorcycles which you like and have shortlisted. Listening to mere suggestions won't help. Take a TR and then decide. Ask female members in your home to.accompany you in TR, if possible. This will give you a better picture on the parameters you have listed.

                Cheers,
                Sanjay

If you're hell bent on the Gixxer SF, then please go for it. It's mind vs heart for you.

You might be happy with gixxer/gixxer sf but there will come a time when you will feel "there is no replacement for displacement"

Means you can add everything else later, but not cc to your engine.
