    Usually no.
But I have managed it with a lot of clutch slipping speeds in first gear thanks to Bangalore's insane traffic. That was the only time the heat from the radiator was starting to scorch my legs. But just to be fair to the bike, I ended up covering 10kms in an hour and 15 minutes. You do the math.

A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Re: Suggest needed between three completely different bikes.

Hi xbhpians !!! Happy new year to all of you.

I am currently waiting for the dawn of AutoExpo, Which might only add further woes to my confusion.

My heart is not accepting the fact that a 150cc like Fz-Fi/Gixxer-SF/CBR150 would happily meet my needs and is more practical. It is craving for an upgrade from 150..

Hence, my preference stands as follows -
        1) Pulsar NS200/AS200 Fi.
        2) Pulsar RS200.
        3) New Karizma(. Hopefully Hero releases it by March).
        4) Apache 200 ABS.
        5) Anything new 200/250 cc that falls under Rs.1.5 L Onroad.
        6) Last but not the least, do not buy any bike.(I wouldn't like to do it.)

Have test ridden both RS200 and AS200, but i felt that both do not match the all round capabilities of old ZMA.

Ruled out CBR250 and Dukes from my list as they are expensive and I wouldn't do justice with a monthly mileage of ~500km. (would take the bike out only twice a week doing 70-80km each time).

        Thanks

Since long I was anticipating a move to a different state and hence kept the decision of buying a new bike on the back burner. Now that I have moved to HYD I am buying a new bike. There are THREE choices that I am swinging between and they are as follows: (and EACH OF THESE three are different breed of bikes, I know).

              1. Royal Enfield TB 500
              2. HONDA CBR 250 STD
              3. KTM DUKE 390

I would also like to put My Perspective into words out here so you can understand the thought that has gone into narrowing down to These Three options and can help me out choosing ONE out of them.

              1. RE TB 500:

This one is chosen purely out of the Heart. I completely and absolutely, love this bike and the likes of it. Apart from that:-

And thats your decision. Right there. Always buy a bike with your heart, because if motorcycles were bought with mind, there wouldnt be any, and everyone would ride about in a box on 4 wheels(aka car)

Suggest best Comfort and suspension among these:
                  1) Pulsar 180
                  2) RTR 180
                  3)AS200

nobody thinks of the apache for comfort. if it is comfort you want, go with the newly launched hornet. the RTR is performance ALL THE WAY. if you want thrill, that's the bike to go.

Hornet's riding position is comfortable but the suspension is very hard . you can feel every bump.

oh ok. have you purchased that hornet? because i went to a honda showroom to take a test drive, they declined, so i decided to hold off buying it till a test vehicle was available. around jan mid hopefully.

Yeah I purchased it on 23 December. I bought it without test ride.seats are quite accommodating and the pillion Seat is comparable to unicorn's.

RE TBTS, booked 2 weeks ago and awaiting delivery. getting updates from brand store Hyderabad on and off that the Flicker and Stone color production is halted due to a glitch at factory/its about to be discontinued. they say "ek flicker bike hai 2016 ki aap jaldi le lo warna next customer ko deni padegi". i am thinking, is baat me kuch to 4G hai...I mean kuch toh gadbad hai

getting clarity on the same. otherwise the call to make payment has already come last week.
