The the bike is good the faults I found were that welding were looking awkward and maybe for my size the look of the bike seems to be huge ( not felt during riding though) .

    Breaks were nice (one with CBS ) peppy engine and light clutch.

    The problem is I also like gixxer

                  Congratulations on the purchase ... IMO this is the best bike in the 150 segment in terms of refinement, handling. I know the Hornet was better in TD... but my TD bike was a beat up POS and still was almost as good as the new Hornet.

                  Just a quick question ... were you shown the new version of the bike. It comes with black and red schema. Or did you intentionally go for all black.

                    I actually went in to buy red and black color and it was not available at that time ... Thought heck whats there in color, all black was looking sexy so bought that :P

                        As long as you are happy mate ... all is well. When I was shown the brochure the black/red and the white/blue Suzuki racing really popped out and hence the question.

                        Not wanting to expand POS :-) ... I meant a very badly maintained, horribly abused Test Drive Gixxer was still almost as good as the new Hornet when it came to engine refinement and performance.

                          Fantastic! Congrats on your new ride man. After a lot of funneling down, I'm going to pick up a Gixxer too. Now, I'm torn between the naked and the SF models haha.
                          I test rode both and I found the SF to be more stable and fun to ride. I just wish the SF had better specs than the naked version - I mean.. liquid cooling, fuel injection, rear disc and stronger headlamps would have been most welcome. Having said that, I love the the way the bike responded to my inputs and I think I'll get it :P

                            Good Choice man..

                            Even I was in love with Gixxer a lot but because of only one problem I need to back off. Pillion comfort.

                            Now After lots n lots of researching between Fz & Hornet. I'll be going with Hornet. Sad thing is Bookings only open in Chennai. Waiting for the RTO approval.
                            Need to know anybody from other state got Hornet.
