Brother, Test rides will depend from city to city. Some show rooms offer it, some don't. So you'll have to personally check it out at your place.

As for CBR250R, no news of a new updated model coming anytime soon and hence no way the current one is going out of production. And there will always be something new around the corner and you'll always be waiting. If you like it, Go get it.

Ride safe.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

My requirements are like i'll go for highway cruising in a month like 500km in a day and back after fee days. As i stay out of station, it will be my partner to come home. After this there will be normal city riding 200km in a month.
I'm 6'1" tall, 78kg in weight.
Kindly suggest some best bikes fulfills my requirements. I don't have any bikes in my head, coz I'm soo much confused to pick one.

Bro your budget is 2Lacs so don't take risk just go for Honda CBR 250 tried and tested bike.
Second as you said after some time you will ride it in normal city traffic then you can take any bike under 1Lac like Apache200,Yamaha R15

Did you consider the Mahindra Mojo. Apart from the CBR this is the only contender I see for your requirement.

As you have used Apache for 10 years.. IF you still love Apache, then go for Apache 200.. or you can try 200cc Pulsars or KTMs..

CBR 250(ABS) is a very good option. You can go for it eyes closed as its a tried and tested machine.
Another option you have is Benelli TNT 25. Has ample power, comfort and looks. Also the exclusivity factor will be there for a few more years to come.

Re: Upgrading from Apache 150

The TNT 25 has too much Vibrations though.
if you have the money to go for the CBR 250R ABS,Look no further. That's a beast ! Smooth Butter engine and Gearbox.Great Power and amazing Tourability.Maintenance and Spare Part costs are a bit high but the Quality is top notch.
If you want to save that money,Go for the RTR 200 ABS Fi Pirelli. That's the top-end RTR launching the end of June (Yup,Long wait ) could be priced at 1.3 Lakhs,Costs nearly 70,000 Cheaper than the CBR,Sounds better than the CBR,Maintainence and Spare Part Costs are a bit cheaper than the Honda,Equally good build quality,Switch gear is of much better quality The Power is much lesser than the 250R though. You miss out 4 Bhp and Top-end grunt. The RTR 200 is mainly tuned for City Slicking so low end and Mid range is beautiful to work with.Power is totally non-existent above 8K RPM.Few months later you might have Aftermarket ECUs that are tuned differently to boost the Top-end Power and overall power (Bhp).

Check his posts, he is like I will give all the options and in last sentence I will still write TVS product.
TVSian ; I have owned TVS product when you didnt even know what TVS was, stop blindly suggesting that without even riding one specially the 200 that you are promoting on every thread.

P.S : Ever tried not writing a post without TVS word in it, you still would have a normal day

Today i made my decision and booked a CBR 250 ABS Black coloured. The authorised dealer said i have to wait minimum of 1week. They don't have that stock at present. They r convincing me to take their test bike, which dont have the abs, they are offering some discout for that. I don't have any hurry i goes for waiting period. Now I'm happy to loose my hard earned money for my college dream. As this was my dream bike when i was in college. Now i am eagerly waiting for the call from the dealer. Thank u guys to take me out from confusion to a decision. Cheers.
