Re: Which Scooter ?
Well, I did not know that personal preferences matter when budget is very low. I only posted practical preference in original-post . Here are some personal preferences:Originally posted by prashanth.rva View PostSince you have no concerns on brand/look/style/racing/touring/Racetrack-usage/ Weekend-recreation-riding, any 125CC bike would fit into your budget.
Go for Honda Shine, which is the most selling 125cc bike. It has got a smooth & reliable engine. Can give you a trouble-free ride.
Looks. I like Xtremem Sports over Shine, I like Bajaj Avenger too but my lean and average body somehow does not look good on it. Bike and Me should match in personality on outside
. I love KTM Duke 200 once I sat on it, hell I loved the orange color and the design+looks. Cant forget the riding expereince and not to mention I was just a pillian rider for 5 min . But all these are way out of budget right now.
Comfortable Commuting. I will be commuting for 30km a day. I got no idea whether racing postion is comfortable with a backpack or not. If it is then I am in for sporty looks.
Timeline: I will change the bike in next 2 years, wont be using it more than that.
EDIT: I just checked out Bajaj & Hero showrooms. Bajaj only gives 1 year warranty (or 35,000 km whicever is earlier) plus 1100/- for AMC for 1 more year. Hero has 5 eyars warranty (or 50K kms, whichever is earlier). I wonder why there is so much difference
