No way RS200.Dont fall for the looks or features. Its a vibration magnet.Completely remove the RS from your list. And a ton and ton of isuees with RS and the terrible SVC.Just stay away from it.Saying for your good.

However you already own a pulsar 220 so buying a CBR250 would also mean you wont get that huge of a difference.Frankly speaking the p220 still has enough raw power for city rides and occasional highway blasts. Its a brilliant bike from Bajaj.

However Dont compare Duke with CBR(saw a post). Both are very different bikes. In city Duke is crazy fast and handling is exceptional and since it is light it can pretty much outgun any bike within 300CC in city.

CBR is a different league altogether. You need to have patience just as with any faired bike in traffic. It isnt as nimble as duke. Also the motorbeam video, shows its faster than RC but CBR hasnt got the pickup like KTMs(as ktms are short geared). If you really need power you will have to cross the 5000RPM line, and in city its always best to be under 5000RPM where as in KTMs its really fast.

But in highways CBR is one crazy bike.Such smooth plantation on the roads,Not much wind blast, and a taylor made suspension...You just cant beat it.Period.

Decide which one are you looking for mainly and what is your requirment.

The bike is really smooth, powerful and really easy on maintenance. I'm getting around 30-32kmpl here in city traffic.
Keep us posted on your decision
Hi bro can you tell me about lighting in your bike. Is it enough in highways as well as in city rides.

Hi Bro ,, One of my friend said that RS is quick Acceleration than cbr (0-100). Because it has RC200 technology.. and cbr Mileage is 25 kmpl in city 30 kmpl in Highway.?? That is too much .. If it's true i can use car instead of CBR..??

But I have to choose between CBR and pulsar rs200, it will be cbr250 again. No unnecessary attention, just a fast, reliable performer. Quiet enough to avoid getting speed gunned. Fast enough to beat all 200's. Agile enough to go through a gap a TVS 50 can. Cool enough to never overheat in 3 years of Chennai traffic.

          Max speed : 154 kmph*
          Max mileage : 49.7 kmpl*

          * Speed test not done on public roads

          * Mileage test done with normal petrol and keeping speeds at 70kmph/4000-4500rpm.
Thats great bro . Can I get 40 kmpl if I maintain 70-85 kmph

            Who is that friend, man!!

RS sharing technology from RC in what sense .

            1. RS is SOHC whereas duke and RC Brothers are DOHC.
            2. RC and DUKE has much more superior frame than that of RS.

Nobody had ever reported a mileage of 25kmpl.on.a cbr250 unless and until the bike has been badly maintained. If you keep your bike in good condition you will always land in the territory of 34-35kmpl average of fuel consumption.

            Get your facts right man!!

            Cheers,
            Sanjay

Bajaj Svc guy told me that . Coming to the millage of cbr I don't drive recklessly, my riding is very sedative. On highways I cruise 70-85 kmph only. So I'm expecting 40 kmph.

40 kmpl regularly is a bit far fetched I think for cbr.if you are sure you would ride it below 100kmph on highway than it is possible.in similar riding conditions difference in mileage between CBR and pulsar will be 5-8 kmpl.

Today I ridden rs. But I felt rear break is very weak even in ABS version also. It has low ground clearance. Not easy to move in traffic. Looks small for 6 feet tall persons. Engine became over heat in less than 1km of short ride. So I am not satisfied . Finally I booked cbr.

Bike is new so it will be rough, follow run in procedure and it will get smooth. After first service you will feel how smooth cbr is.

Pls don't take it in wrong way but I never heard headlight being poor in CBR. Can you elaborate
Brake will take time get the proper feel as the pads are new it will take time to settle in.
keep in my mind every time you change brake pads it will feel like brakes have less feel.
                                And post some pics
                                Regards,
