Yes sir!

But what are you trying to convey here? If people were idiots 20 years back, they need not be one today!
xBhp will never support underage riding, even if the rider is a saint. Almost every single one of us learnt riding before 18, but then that is a big reason of the mess we call traffic today. We need change. And change starts from everyone's household!

Yes, that is why we say teenagers are fools, who have absolutely no idea of what they should/should not be doing.
Maturity doesn't even come at 18, but that's the rule. I've seen people get mature only after 25 and that too only if they've been riding for a few years at least by then.

Wow, that must have given you a sense of pride right? I wonder what my father did or said to me, I used to love him and be scared of him at the same time. I knew what was the max I could do without getting thrashed. He wasn't strict, but firm.
I knew I couldn't have our Splendor for my joyrides, but I used to get the opportunity daily to park it in the garage at night and take it out in the morning. And that was enough for me.
And I'm not too older than you either, I'm 27!

So your dad is one of those people! I had been thinking for so many years - how do people in movies just put a fake mustache and change their hair slightly and play double roles and nobody recognizes them? I thought it's just lame imagination but you proved me wrong. Thanks for that!

Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Xbhp was even there when people here were trying to learn what motorcycle spells like.
Divya : So to the point, I dont know why that post was made in first place.
Amd sharmaji , if you are so rule and law abiding guy, do the same for the forum too and stay away from.bikes till you get driving licence.

How these underage guys are encouraged in home to get Power Bikes??

My father didn't let me touch his car or his bike till I was 19. He sold super Power bike Samurai and bought me HeroHonda Deluxe. He told me to buy power bike in my Money which I'm still struggling to make decision on which bike .

I am surprised this thread was approved. Maybe its time to make a validation on need bike advice posts for minimum basics before posting.

Sharma Ji: When you purchased RS200 then also we suggested not to buy it since you don't have DL but then you didn't listen to use, within 4-5 months your RS has been totalled ( I assume ) and now you are considering Duke 200 which has more brutal power delivery, I would again suggest you first get a DL then start with some basic 150cc bikes, till then you should not buy any bike its for yours and others safety.

I don't understand your problem
I am risking my life...my parent's money and that's it.
And you know what call me dumb or anything else.
I am a better driver than you all (even if not mature but still better than those who rev bomb to scare pedestrians(source rs 200 ownership thread) I still use horn and do sane driving)
Even fmsci allows teenagers to race on the tracks if they are cabaple to drive and the same is the case with me I know I am capable and I don't want to be judged I was just asking for some reliable info..

Divya, I didn't get your dad joke.

Reason I asked if xbhp existed earlier was because I discovered it only in 2012. When I was searching for bike reviews.

About underage driving, I know the forum rules. I was just wondering if maturity truly comes with age. I've seen Many gray haired men do stupid and adolescent things on a motorcycle.

Kid don't take in the wrong way everyone is trying to help you.
There's a reason why there's an age limit for getting driving license because at that age you will be adult your way of thinking and doing things are matured.
Coming to getting powerful bikes if you want to be a good rider you have to start at bottom at least at 150 cc, you can say that you are sane rider etc but as rider for almost 12+ years I can say I'm a better rider now than what I was 5 years ago because there are somethings you will learn only overtime. let me give you my example I started with scooter Narmada 150 (my dad's scooter) then kinetic Honda (my cosuins) and KB125 (most memorable bike I have ever driven) slowly I bought my first bike Yamaha FZ-S since I bought it with my own hard earned money the feeling of owning it was special and I sometimes used to drive it fast in traffic but over the time I found that unnecessary and dangerous. Then in the same year CBR was launched I bought it keeping my FZ with me but it was too powerful for me I was afraid for couple of weeks to drive it also because it was expensive bike I didn't wanted it to be damaged. I used FZ for daily use (almost 3 years) and gave me better perspective of road grip etc and after that I started using CBR as daily driver its been 2 years now and I can say I can handle CBR better than what I did 2 years back.
Your life matters because your parent don't want you to die and clearly they love you too much
You have entire life in front of you why do you want to throw it away ?
You can have bigger bikes slowly there's nothing wrong in that.
Regards,
Mohan

Risk your life somewhere else then and spare this website then, we have very few sensible riders left here, dont increase the squid population here.'
And yes I seriously wish your parents stop giving up on your demands, they are more responsible for this attitude of yours

So honking makes you a sane rider (driver is for cars by the way)?
That proved the maturity level of yours alongwith the boasting that you are better than others. Ever heard of the hindi proverb "Jo garajte hai wo baraste nahi"

Oh so comparing streets with race tracks, lete me give you few very basic difference between then, you dont get opposite side traffic, you dont get red lights, you dont get other road users other than the other track users who are going in the same direction as you are.
And sorry you were judged correctly long back when your uncle totalled your bike and you boasted about your road racing and riding without driving license.

Check my join date, before that xbhp server crashed once, it was here even when 200cc were a distant dream for rich kids here.
And we are not saying that age guarantees maturity but a 29yr old person will see thinks much sensibly and have seen life much better way than an 18yr old kid.
